Redlands will need to move the pocket and get Nathan Martinez rolling out a bunch to counter UMHB's size and speed advantage. Mason C. Has been inactive the last two weeks, so hopefully he is available because Redlands will need his quickness on screens and counters to help slow down their blitz packages.

First time I can remember that Redlands will have some size on the OL/DL to matchup with what is usually a huge disadvantage for Redlands. They will still be undersized in comparison though. Anyway, the game still needs to be played, so let's see if Redlands can pull the upset.
The Cru dont blitz much. They just line up and challenge the man in front of them. Redlands will have a challenge but I am sure they will be more than a worthy opponent to the Cru.

If you believe that.  ::) I have some ocean front property in Arizona for sale .  ;D
So you don't believe they are a worthy opponent or they don't blitz much? Not sure I need oceanfront property in Arizona when I have some in Texas.

All the above.  :P
So do you actually attend the games? If so then you must not be watching the same game that I am watching. The Cru have been getting better slowly but this by far is our weakest team that we have sent out in recent years. Graduation, injuries, deciplinary actions, and other reasons have all contributed to this but it is a fact. Can they gel and get there? Sure they could. Could they lay that proverbial egg and get beat? Sure they could. Their margin for error is slimmer this year by far and that actually makes the games more exciting to watch.

Hey buddy I'm all for the cru to WIN.  :-*

What flavor of Redlands hateraid are you drinking?

Nectar from the gods.. yum yum  ;D

We would love / not hate for your dogs to win if it gave us a Second chance to kick your butt. Every dog has its day and you had your's :-X :-*. It just took years.  :'(

-14 yards rushing. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

IMHO Maynard answered the phone. After much study he pulled off the ONE out of nine.
He's a smart enough man to know he's got to take what's left of his team after MHB to McMinnville next fall.
Oh boy!

Well we'll just have to see, so for the record is what 4 times facing each and UR is 0-4. To be honest if people are banking on the HSU game to be a gauge I'd say that is a bad bet. it was an anomaly not a trend. For long time Cru fans the TLU game was telling, it looked like a team released and kicking it into gear. I think UR will bring a game, not sold that it will match up to pull off a W. Last time we faced them they had the lead going into the half, and then in the second half they were passed and surpassed never getting into the Cru half the entire second half of the game. I like our chances.

Also kudos to Redlands... I think they have a good chance to knock off UMHB. They have the beef on the lines and a great offense and defense.  Their QB is very athletic and a great runner and passer.

You are a funny guy, a little twisted is cool

1) LF Fans, now I understand the origin of the word Fanatic, give it a break...you guys have a great program, cant win them all, you got punch in the mouth so what. None of us played or coached, sit back and enjoy.
2) Cru Fans, you guys should be 17 point favorites. Best talent in D3, last time we played you guys Maynard did not have us playing like the 32 second seed at season end, plus those kids has seen your team speed before so it was less of shock.. I would put us in the top 20 based on our improvement at the end of the year in 16. This season the team has a little more talent than the 16' team but still puts us at huge underdogs. Last time we played our QB has zero time to pass and you brought just 4. This year we should have a little time (half second lol),  our TE blocks better and QB is more mobile. We have to get our D off the field, in 2016  we gave MHB 4 short fields in the second half, game over. It is happens again, same result.
We have a chance, but its slim.

Nice try Olddog but l don't think the CRU will fall for the propaganda.

You know OD I really would have preferred a Chappie matchup, not a fan of the UR/UMHB rodeo we seem to have and I really don't like chappie all that much, If I wished for a serious monkeystomp I'd like to see Chappie on the receiving end. UR was doing well in the second against them and I was really hoping they'd pull it off. I have much more respect for the UR program.. I hope safe travels and a good game on Saturday. Linfield you'll have to stomp them into oblivion please,

umhb2001

Just watched first half of the Redlands versus Chapman game. Redlands will have to play much better to have a chance against The Cru. The QB looks pretty small. I hope he doesn't get hurt against our guys. Seems if he gets flushed, he is errant on his throws. The 3 man front on D did not stop the Chapman running game. UMHB played a tough three man front against HSU and TLU. Not great the first time; much better the second; a third time??? I think Redlands plays well on D and will put up a strong test in the first, but depth and size will wear them down.

42-12 Cru
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!
