We will be a whole different MONSTER than Chapman. If coaches take the reigns off and let them eat then it will be a long day for the dogs.

If it and buts were candy and nuts every day would be Christmas...LF had their chance this year and it did not work out....why does it bother you all so much you got you rears handed to you all up front. Surely we had our share from the Cats.
Uh....the post you quoted was from a UMHB poster......   ???
Thats cool with me if you guys best Linfield. Hope that continues for awhile and hope we dont have to keep playing you guys every year this early. Doesn't seem right that a team that could make it to the quarters has to go out in round one. But 1 team will be dealt a bad hand and the other will probably go to the 3rd round at least.

My question is which round will Coach Fred put away the offense and let his defense pull the game out... certainly its not Round 1, correct?

Interesting... I'm planning to keep a close eye on that.

I'm sure its good enough to compete with the heavies. .

Recap

1) I did not think we would get in and we did, but partially right we got middle finger by the NC$$
2) Nice to see Oxy Bob wrong too, 11 years ago and Oxy was in the mix
3) Pat C, how could you of all people forget the NCAA is all about $$$$...the whole regional process is pretty much a shame, Berry for example
4) Committee did admit they are useless
5) Wish the rules was waived and we were playing Chapman. I don't like Texas BBQ that much
6) LF will have a tough time with Chapman team speed. Good match up, hold LF under 100 yards rushing and win.
7) Second Round, other than Chapman, UR or LF, NCAA wont have to pay for a flight, all other with 500 miles of each other and bus trip, Next year regional rankings mean nothing, it should be change to "Bu$ing Rankings"
8) Looking a for a car when I get to Belton, any idea where I might find one?

Parking is easy at UMHB if there is only football.  The last time I was there, there was some kind of event for potential students or something, so I had to walk a few blocks.
Sit on the visitors side.  That is near the student union.  I think the tickets are reserved, but it is  pretty easy to move around.
The weather high is expected to be 64 and sunny.
Look for me.  I'll be easy to spot.  I'm pretty sure I will drive down.  The Texas/Baylor game in Waco will be at 2:30, so traffic will be fairly easy for me both ways.  UT fans will be going north, so you may have some traffic from them.  And Thanksgiving traffic has an unknown effect for all.

Well the UR Losers we able to fly charter out of SB, so trip is a little easier on them.

My take is the Losers need three turnovers by MHB to win,. Hopefully our inverts, robbers, sam, mike, will,  1, 3, 9 techs can hang. I doubt we 2 gap this week, or roll under. No word if Mason going to be able to play, sorry guys tight lips this week.

Coach Maynard will need some luck......and Good Luck to our champ & class act of Bob Owens and the Brandman Panthers vs. the Humble Cats

Less than two more years of Gavin.

George Thompson

Congratulations, Chapman.    We made two many mistakes today, but you are a very good team and outplayed us.

Way to get in RFB. Is Belton nice this time of year?

I heard the weather in Belton was very nice today.  How is the weather in Orange now that the sun has set on Linfield?

Just back from Orange.  Chapman has some absolutely amazing players on that team.  #44 was literally everywhere (offense, defense, special teams,) and gave the CATS fits all day long.  The RB for Chapman ran tough all day and ended up being the difference in the game.  Heck of a game.  Too bad we lost but proud to be a Willdcat.  Nice to meet Jack Parkman and finally meet desertcat today.  Cats never quit and it was just one of those games that its a shame somebody had to lose.  Next week should be interesting with St. Johns coming West.

Watching, I could hear lots of cow bells being used on the Chapman side of the stands. I think Linfield should complain and file a complaint. NCAA specifically says no noise makers are to be used during the playoffs. Perhaps Linfield can get NCAA DIII to vacate the win by Chapman.  ::)  ;)

Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

There were Cow Bells on the Linfield side too.

The turning point of the game was at the end of the first half. Redlands has the ball and could have scored at least a fg. With two timeouts, they had the ball around if not inside the UMHB 20. Poor clock management led to not even a fg attempt. To start the second half, Redlands drives the field and scores. It could have easily been a one score game before UMHB got their first possession in the second half. Any thoughts on this, Redlands fans?

Looks like Redlands' QB got knocked out of the game in the 2nd quarter and never came back.  That was probably also a huge factor.
