The Johnnies haven't had much defense all year. What does Chapman have to do to limit Erdmann?

What?! Prior to Saturday, they were 5th in the nation in scoring defense and 12th in total defense.

Well I will say it.    Congrats to both Redlands and Chapman for beating Linfield this year.
Both of you beat us fair and square.    We made too many mistakes in both games.     But, Redlands and Chapman took advantage and won both games.

Don't count us, though.   The Wildcats do come back.    I am sure the coaches will be recruiting heavily and designing some more weapons.    Already looking forward to next year.

I do believe Chapman will give St. John's all they can handle.    Whichever team provides the better defense will win.

Based on their first-round games, it doesn't look like either team has a defense!  :o

I like to jab the LF Fanatics, but I have not doubt they will be back, clearly they a committed. Their fronts have dropped off, clearly UR was better this year and I thought I would never see LF dominated this way by UR. 5 years ago my buddy who had a kid at a PAC 12 school was very impressed by your linemen. He thought LF linemen had better technique than his son's team. The second issue is team speed, your WR were slower than our corner and less quick kids  over all, and the key is a mobile QB in D3 since lines can be weak. As I stated before Chapman's team speed would give LF problems. Quickest team I have seen in D3 outside MHB.

I like the fact the conferences are closer in stature.

Going to be fun next year and a great off season on the message board talking about the Losers vs. LF.

Less than two more years of Gavin.

Will Linfield be receiving some sort of "SCIAC 3rd Place" plaque or trophy?

Indeed.
On the visitor's side with subtle LINFIELD accoutrement in case any posters want to introduce themselves.

I showed up to an HSU game in Cru gear once to scout a team we'd be playing.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Lol. I didn't play QB.

Perhaps DawgsOT57 has you and UR confused with Western Carolina.

OxyBob

Haha. My daughter is only 12, and is an athlete and refuses to be a cheerleader (thank god). Plus, she's too young to date QB's.

Marching band is also > cheerleader

Anything is > cheerleader

Raiderguy used to attend all SJU games in gaudy Mount Union gear.  I thought he was some pompous dickhead till I met him and found out that he was a cool dude and Johnnie fan except when they play Mount.

Aren't the Thanksgiving away games always disconcerting?

Yes.  Airfare to Cali is out of sight. And, apparently, it is impossible to find a plane to charter the weekend of thanksgiving.
