An end of an era is putting it lightly. The best leader, mentor, and coach in a generation at Redlands (all sports) was just treated like dirt and dragged through the mud publicly for all to see. He deserved better than this, and  I don't blame him at all for giving "double middle fingers" to the university.

What really sucks is Mike Maynard was not able to retire on the field and given the proper send off and celebration of gratitude that he 100 percent deserves. Shame on you, Redlands!

What kills me is after Maynard was vindicated the president puts out a message short of calling the investigation a bunch BS...He did not have control over the school? I have not been able to figure out who pushed this, what did Martinez do to stop it? ...they all reap what they sew ...cant wait for the call for money by some woke kid

Sorry to hear about what happened to Mike Maynard. The merciless Twitter mob will crush and destroy him. The Twitter mob is not about conversation or understanding or "coming together." They are about crushing all dissent and making you bow down on their altar. If Maynard is lucky he will only be schooled and re-educated Mao-style. More likely he will be destroyed. Based on CA ranking 48th in vaccine distribution, I am concerned about football in 2021 in LA County. We have 2m vaccine doses just sitting in fridges, mostly designated for LA. LA Fire and LAPD have had to throw some away because not all took shots and no back up plan to inject others. I guess they did not know last summer the approvals were coming in 2020.

Based on this pace no FB in 2021.

UR and the Regals from CLU have announced they are going to play a home and home series in March. UR kids can go back to campus this week.

Hats off to Coach Mac (always liked the guy)  and Maynard putting this together. Word was coach Maynard was not going to coach again at UR, however it appears he might be up for these two games. It remains to be seen how this plays out.

UR faces some challenges in the future, all projects on hold, unofficially

On a more global front our leader Gov. Newsome is lifting the stay at home order, which is good for the two games. Not sure about the science, our economic and health metrics were not any more favorable compared to Texas and Florida, where sports were played.

Last night UR started working out, looking into when the two games will be played in March, apparently UR and CLU tried to get Chapman to play being from Orange County but CU was firm in not rolling out football.

My guess is despite Newsome opening back up there will not be fans in the stands. Hope its streamed.

Now that our leader has rolled back the tiers, looking forward to UR releasing some dates associated with games to be played, any rumors about other SCIAC schools that might play football? Unreal Chapman not playing.

SCIAC website has UR playing CLU on 4-11, a Sunday...first info I could find.

Not other sports have started playing, tennis, track, some mens BB...

It saddens me to announce this Thursday will be coach Maynard's last event as the Head Coach of UR. UR will hold an inter-squad scrimmage due to the fact the Regals had to cancel their scheduled game due to a strain of the flu from .

It is a shame because because CLU and UR have been competing against each other in other sports outside the woke league play.

It is ironic that school has said nothing and now Maynard will retire to Eastern Washington.

I know many that have stopped contributing to the school. If Maynard had stayed any contributions were going to direct to the football team either way.

More to come on this topic (Maynard), I a still pissed off at the Woke school and glad I am in the last third of my life and don't have to spend most of it witnessing America wilt.
