The reality of Maynard being gone is setting in and really soured my outlook. One tidbit of news, our QB coming back for his fifth year.
One pissed off dog. My guess is Chapman is the favorite followed by UR.
Less than two more years of Gavin.

SCIAC has not had a back to back champion since Cal Lu was winning big!

Chapman should be  favored especially with Dillon Keefe the best all around D3 player back on board for 2021 season amongst other quality guys. Redlands will be no pushover and may have something to say about the top spot. I understand their QB who was a handful for many teams...Linfield among them is coming back which will make them a difficult out in the SCIAC.

Is Keefe back?  If so, he is not on the All-American or All-Region teams, which would be wrong!  He is a stud and deserves that recognition.  I am a Chapman College Alumnus (yes, I am old) and played soccer on scholarship, but my son currently goes to Cal Lu and plays football. He is sad that Mac left and hopes Lugo does well.  Lugo is a good man and has a big job ahead.  They had a large recruiting class and should compete.

Coach Mac is a good dude, basically he told me to text him anytime to get into a game. Despite knowing I am Maynard guy, we had mutual friends in his program and I would never knock them to any prospect. Still going to call them the Regals from time to time.

You can call them the Regals, but the Kingsman have the most SCIAC football championships.  Mac is a great guy and friends with Maynard.  Interesting that they both left at the same time.

Dr. D...Chapman football Twitter account had a twitted on 12/18/20 a SCIAC link with interview with Dillion and above it they had the  caption " And he is coming back". I assume he has committed to Chapman to return based on that tweet.

I believe the all American team in question is only for athletes that played games this year—it's a post season all American team—this explains why it's so "biased" towards certain regions and also why a player like Keefe isn't included.

In response, Lindy's does not list Keefe on the pre-season All-America D3 either.  If he is back, he will be a force.

Or maybe this is different than the preseason all american poll....i don't know....  and if remember correctly---Lindy's is usually not very in tune with Division III
