Damn, why didn't I think of that? :P
Thanks for your perspective.  You and Gray Fox have game!

Even with tuition sky high at UR, that still only accounts for about 60% of the operations cost.  It will be interesting to see how the very expensive private schools navigate the landscape over the next few years.  Convincing students to put themselves in debt for 100K is not a good business model.  Hey you get a 30k scholarship, but still have 40k to pay....

When I had kids involved in the UR program, the average player paid less that half, if I recall if was about 40% net of cost, excluding loans ....Not too many players were above 65% range according to the coaches.
Less than two more years of Gavin.

My son has about 60% scholarship currently at Cal Lutheran, but his out-of-state roommate gets about 80%-- All Academic and Income based, though the academic money can be adjusted :o

The move UR did is slowly reduce your aid closer to graduation, when you have little choice.

At Cal Lu, the scholarship/Aid award is guaranteed for 4 years or until graduation.

So is the tuition rate guaranteed to stay the same as well or just the same scholarship package?

Good point.  No tuition rate guarantee, but his tuition has not increased in his two years, so far!

Top 3 sounds fair.
I would think that the top 6 are strong and deserving.  Two schools in SCIAC in top 30.  This year, Cal Lu has 120 plus player athletes and have a lot of talent, and need to reach their potential.  Largest group in years!  A lot of D1 and JUCO transfers.
