I think I understood the difference between what your son said about CLU and what you said about CLU. Your son was pleased about a victory and enthusiastic about CLU's season, while you are on a public message board bagging on the team, the HC and his staff. Is that about right?

Oops they quit, they were still recruiting kids in May 2020 and raising money, had them enroll and dropped football in October 2020, how nice of those Flag Destroyers....

Whittier game tonight should be a win for CLU, then a week off before final game against Redland.  Hopefully, most of the roster will play tonight, as 50% or so of the players have not played yet.
My son should get some rest tonight.  Redlands would have to be heavy favorites against CLU.  CLU needs to play a perfect game, mistake free and tackle to win.  Not sure that is possible, at this point.  Not sure what the game plan will be, but it seems like the wheels have fallen off the bus and the bus is in need of repair.  As a player parent, I can only hope and pray.
