The SCIAC coaches predictions should be out next week.
Still waiting?

Still not out.  I blame Hilary.  But I could be all wet. :D
Still waiting, and my previous reply must have not been appropriate, and was censored?

Taking a Quick Look at SCIAC next year....
Hard to justify moving any teams up or down from last years finish

1) CMS, school is very committed to sports, mini Stanford model etc...just need more team speed
2) PP, left with no choice but to upgrade facilities due to CMS, with Pomona College being attainable for many kids, they should get better, need better linemen, big push this year
3 and 4) Chapman or UR, interchangeable ...solid programs, some good athletes, solid coaches, ...what D3 is all about ...UR working hard to get better up front
5) Cal Lu, Regals should be a little better this year
6) La Verne, If the Lady president does more tackling drills with team, they are doomed.

I doubt the coaches is much different than mine. Pat feel free to link it to your site
Less than two more years of Gavin.

I would flip LaVerne and CLU, but otherwise agree.  CLU lost entire 8 starters on Offense and 8 on defense.

Not too surprised Chapman sneaked into the 2 spot, based on what I am hearing it should be a four team battle. UR had a couple more kids comeback than I thought so my hopes a higher. Tinsley coming back is huge in the 3-3-5...he plays that hybred/SS spot.

Time for my annual recruit message...

Let me know if anyone is interested in participating in the Region 6 fan poll. I'll probably have at least one open spot if you're interested.

Much appreciated!

This is what makes the SCIAC fun to follow--not even statistical analysis can provide a clear favorite!

Cal Lutheran Football about the same as last year.  Start off with 31-7 lead at half.  Increase the lead to 38-7 in the 3rd, only to squeak out a 41-35 win against a week Southwestern U Pirates team.  The Pirates had the ball inside the Kingsman 10 yard line  with less than a minute to play and QB threw a pick into the end zone with seconds left in the game.  The new QB (grad transfer from Jackson State/Ohio State) is the only bright spot for the Kingsmen.
