What do you Redlands fans think about Chris Saras (if that's how you spell his last name. Sorry about that) and the incoming frosh sharing time on the field. From what we learned last year, Saras did a fine job towards the end of the season. Or could this be the last time we see chris commanding the field?

Any words on the staggs, hens and leos???????

Its way to early to know anything because the frosh havnt even reported yet...there are still some D1's apparently calling the kid.....time will tell

I read on this board that Oxy got Sean Sudol, I was told yesterday by a parent that was at some awards banquet that Sudol is going to St. Petersberg.

Oxy was recruiting the new Redlands QB recruit  since he was a junior.  I heard that form one of the kids high school coaches who is Friends with an Oxy coach.

Cut City....are you sure you posted on the right board???  I cant figure out which post you are responding to.

The Shrine game website reports Sudol is going to St. Peters college.  Never heard of it.  I'm not sure that Sudol is the guy my bud was referring to when he told me that Oxy got a top incoming frosh recruit.  I'll see what I can find out.

Words from Whitter lead many to believe that they should have a good offense under carlson. As expected, their running attack will be a big part of their upcoming season. The air attack at the school still needs a lot of improvement, but their ground game will lead them to stay close with many teams. The only thing that will need to happen is that the poets D will have to learn how to play 4 quaters of Football. This was one of their weakness as we all heard how they lost against really good teams (i.e.. Redlands and Oxy). Look for Carlson to make a change like he did at chapman to improve the poets

I think Oxy has a recruiting class just shy of 40.  And Liger is right, Oxy graduated 21 or 22 seniors, not starters.  I think the defense is returning 8 starters.  Not sure about the offense but 3 or 4 sounds about right.

From my count there are four returning offensive starters: QB Collins, WR Ciasulli, RB Andersen, OL Gonzalez.

There are several guys who are going to step up now that its their turn in the spot light.  Look for WR Winchell to be a great possesion reciever for the Tigers.  He's quick and has great hands.

RB Thompson offers a strong back up to Andersen with great speed and the ability to cut once and be gone.

There are also several young, but maturing offensive linemen in the Tiger camp... these guys are all coming back strong and looking for their opportunity to play along with OL Gonzalez.
