RFB....hey thanks he looks like a great recruit.

Redlands large recruiting class is both a blessing and a curse.  I imagine that there are at least 60 returning players and I believe that only 50 can dress for away games and a somewhat larger number for home games.

The transfers will be upperclassmen and want to play now. There will be alot of incoming freshman that will redshirt and many that will probably get discouraged.  I guess if you are the coach, its a good problem to have but if you are a player....could be a problem.

Some guys will have to get over their ego.

As stated by RFB there are always some who leave after a week of practice.  Now you know why.

The Redlands football website has a fairly extensive breakdown on its 2006 recruiting class.  Worth reading if you are a fan.

I tried to cut and paste but couldnt get it to format properly. :-[

I took a look at it.  The "return to dominance" slogan for the year made me laugh. :)

HOLY SMOKE!  "Return To Dominance"  I almost spit my water all over my key board when I read that.  THAT has to be the funniest thing I've read in a really long time.  It's not funny because Redland's is using it but anybody that's been reading the board for a long time will get it.

What the hell....is Honus in charge of solgans down at Redlands?  Next thing we'll find out is that A.B. will be BF Wabby's cousin and that TDT will move into the Redland's YMCA.

"Return To Dominance" ......the circle is complete!

If you read the season preview, I think you will see that the slogan refers to dominance in the SCIAC.

ok, cat, what does AB and BF stand for?  remember, I am sitll a rookie.

rockcat

AB is Aaron Biglin, the older brother of former Whitworth QB Scott Biglin.  He used to be a regular poster in the NWC board but mysteriously disappeared after he talked ridiculous amounts of crap before the Rats were bitch slapped by the Cats.  He would say some of the dumbest things and typed like a "hooked on phonics" dropout.  He was highly entertaining but beyond stupid.

what about BF?....I assume TDT is Touch Down Tommy.

Please Help get the word out to Vilnis Ezrins Stootsky,California Lutheran Wide receiver, that football practice starts on the Thousand Oaks campus August 18,2006 .Vilnis gets "cornfused" at times and is forgetful.Vilnis didn,t get back on campus from Christmas break  in 2004  until like February 2005. Vilnis thought he had 2 months off -not 2 weeks!! Then in May 2005 after the seniors graduated Vilnis was cited on the campus with his 3 wheel bicycle attempting to sell ice cream bars from a freezer .Somebody forgot to tell Vilnis that he could go home to Canyon Country for a summer break. He finally went home but nobody has seen Vilnis since late May 2005.     I sent word to Briscoe "Stomp",Danny Boy,The Killershark, and Austin, and other Kingsmen footballers  to try and  get in touch with Vilnis but they can.t find him !! If anybody out there knows the whereabouts of"cornfused" Vilnis have him contact coach Kenny at Cal Lu U.---ASAP---The Kingsmen team wants him back on Campus on time for football practice.

The "Recruiting List" is a joke.  That many players?  They won't have enough time to evaluate all of them.  But they need to bring in that many because half probably won't make financial aid, etc....
