Hi guys -

Recently moved to the West Valley and am interested in checking out some good D3 ball this season (played DB for a D3 school back east many years ago).

I know there's a few local teams out here (CLU, Oxy).  Any "must see" games going on this season I should mark on my calendar to check out if I can make them?

Although I attended SC grad school (and used to go to almost all the home games), now that I have a family getting to downtown, dealing with the crowds, traffic, etc isn't as appealling as it used to be.

D O.C.

On page 153 I put up some games that are of interest.

DGD,

Understand your affiliation to USC given your son's attendance at that school (my condolences on his inability to get into Oxy, Pomona, Claremont or UCLA) . . .  ;)

I think the kids check in to the residences today, physicals tomorrow and practice begins Thursday . . . or I'm off by a day and the physicals are today w/ practice tomorrow . . . not quite sure.

Don't sweat the quiet . . . I'm thinking it's the calm before the storm . . . the eye of the hurricane . . . the moment of silence before the shout of "play ball" . . . the eerie silence before all hell breaks loose . . . and probably some other cliches that don't come to mind right now.

cheers

Sabretooth...more than likely a few prayers too.

I'll say one now for an injury free season for all those involved.
Never too early.

tooth, always enjoy your posts...some + for ya!!!!!  My son had a full ride.....he had offers from several major football programs.....he killed me when he didnt go to ND.  He was blessed with my good looks and his mothers athletic ability! ;)

Redlands reports on Saturday...I guess the reporting date is dictated by the date of game one.  Cant wait...after being a D1 fan for years, you just get tired of all the crap that goes along with the big name guys and the gbig business that goes along with D1 sports.....my impression from the d3 programs is that football isnt any less important, the guys playing may be a bit smaller or slower etc, BUT THEY PLAY FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME.  That makes it special.  I am very excited to see these guys play. :)

I thought you were a Wildcat fan now?  You should spend more time in the NWC yourself.
