I think kids can put a lot of pressure on themselves and, unfortanuately, have a lot of pressure put on them by adults.  In this case I think the latter exists.

Other than saying he should get a chance, I have not said anything about his ability or lack of.  Is this the only issue you have to post about?

DGD, I watch this board since I live in CA and like D3 football.  While I think OxyBob has gone over the edge a few times, if you truly think you haven't been pumping Wabby's ability you're smoking something that affects your memory. 

Whether OxyBob needs a life or not, he's pulled enough together to suggest either that you're the kid's dad or that you have an interest in him that must match or exceed his father's.  Whoever you are, you're doing the young man a disservice by continuing in this vein.  If you don't mention his name again this calendar year it would be too soon.

On a brighter note...I saw the stats for the Trinity game and it looks like the freshman Foreman, RB, had 2 rushes for 19 yds and 1 catch for 25.  Pretty good start for the freshman.  Maybe something to build on for the dawgs.

I cant coment on last year because I didnt see them play.  I cant disagree with watchman's evauation because it was very simiar to what I thought was going on.  It still does not expalng the issues I saw, forcing the ball, not looking to a secondary reciever etc.

So assume the plays are simple, easy to defend, why throw the ball to a covered receiver rather than away?  While there may be some overlap in the problem, you cant balme 11 picks in two games all on hte OC. 

In the scrimmage I thought Beaver did ok.  His stats for the Trinity game were awful and I think this is the first he has played qb for Redlands so while he is a  sr, he lacks experience.
