downown...or as they say in Pittsburgh....daantawn...I love the rat trap...very creative.

RFB, Dawg fan and redlands fan........all have summed up the history of the offensive problems of the dawgs....hopefully next year there will be a clear cut choice for qb ;) ;) ;) :D and some of the problems avoided.

I feel for the seniors also.  They had high expectations for the seson...hopefully all can learn and better prepare for next year.  I believe it is absolutely imperative that the dawgs continue to bulid momentum and more importantly ...confidence for next season......a win over CLU would really be a big step in that direction.  Hopefully some fo the younger guys will get some valuable experience the remainder of the year to carry over to next season.

The future is extremely bright for the dawgs with who they have coming back and the young pups who are currently getting some pt.

THere's also a highschool track meet that the football program and players run to raise money for travel every year. Haha, Can you image some of the players being the officals for some of the field events. I had a trip when i had to officate the disc throw for 80 highschool kids on those hot saturdays ;D ;D ;D)
Eventhough, this is a good chance of making money, the net worth is not even close to the cost of what the trip turns out to be

Btw---lets kill the topic about travel and talk about what we will like to see for this saturday.

What are your predictions for this saturday.
The tigers come pouncing out of the gates and roll mistake free. After a long week of studying film, not milling around like sheep, lifting and practice, the boys at the Rock unite under one goal: To get better.

Whitter comes back and tries to find a better way to finish their games. THey were so close to beating a good stag team on sat.

La Verne should be ready for another close game as well, as they also came so close to coming back on the Pups.

Cal Lu, regains their fuel and intensity after playing a huge game against oxy. Look for this win to be a huge statement after saturdays game. The kingmen are not throwing in the towel yet.

QuoteFundraising for SCIAC athletic programs....is there one school in particular that's good at it?

I see the letters SCIAC, it's true.

Let's just suppose....

51 winning seasons

51 years for alumni and neighbors to be interested

510 people a year willing to give 10 bucks to Athletic Department for specific purposes

510 X $10=$5,100 a year for A.D.

100 people a year interested?

1000?

Was that you sitting to the left of OB ?

Cackles is quite the understatement.

D.O.C.

Enjoyed talking with you Saturday. I did not get your
message until I got home Sunday.

Scandi

Sorrry I missed you.

Great comeback the team showed alot of heart.
The offensive turnaround obviously was super.
The defense stepped up big only allowing 3 points in the second half.

The Golf Tourney is Every summer around May. Its hosted By former Oxy RB Vance Mueller  and Coach W. Unfortunately, for young alumni this turns to be a sad yet funny day when the old folk do better than us on the golf course.  I guess this is a sport that the old dinosaurs like to excel in.

I have a question for you OXY fans. Since many of you call us the pups, can we call you the pussies?

The "Vance Mueller Tourney" is the Friday of Alumni Weekend, so barring any unforeseen change, it will be on June 8, 2007.  No, I wasn't in the stands, I found OB as I was driving home.

Yeah, but I still don't think it was necessary for you to accelerate when you saw me crossing the street.

I swear your honor, I thought I was hitting the brakes . . . I was trying to avoid hitting a puppy in the road . . .  he flashed a gun, it was self-defense . . . it was a dark and stormy night . . . besides, he was wearing a Pomona College shirt so who'd miss him?  Drinking?  No officer, never, you know my motto, "one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor."  ;) :D ;D ;) :D ;D

[/quote]................................Hahaa, nice try.  ;D :D

IMHO, the reason why i refer UOR as Pups is because there is a lot of youth on that team. Youth that i believe  will be groomed into dawgs in the near future.
