I think the Oxy "Cats" have used up 2 of their 9 lives (Cal Lu and Whittier)---they may need the other 7 next week---look forward to a good game between the SCIAC and the NWC!
Go Cats!

Yes. Now watch, we'll hear it's too bad Redlands could not have played them later in the year.

11:00 AM PST ESPN 2

Is that correct?

ESPNews. Same as last year. And the year before. And the year before. And every front-page mention. And the countless mentions during the Oxy game I know you listened to.

Whittier is a gutsy little team....Oxy had Collins and could come back to win...again the difference.........Whittier is dangerous offensively..they went for more yds than Oxy did against the Dawgs,

IF the dawgs had played the season without the to's for the most part, lets say eliminate 70% of them they might be going to the payoffs.......

Im calling out a certain offensive assistant for the CLU team that could who coached my son for seven years in youth football, took him on vacation with his family, spent numerous hours at my house sharing dinner and watching football games and whose two sons were very close friends with my son........and after the Redlands -CLU GAME COULD NOT EVEN SHAKE HIS HAND OR JUST  SAY ......HI....shame on him for being such a jerk........I know he reads this board and he should be ashamed of himself.

My message to him is quit coaching your son....give it up.

best regards, your ex buddy and assistant coach.

I'm right now watching "Honor Roll" featuring the top ten bowl games, on ESPN2. Unless my aged eyes are deceiving me, I see a Linfield jersey hanging in the background.

Feel free to hang one yourself.

Linfield fans certainly hear you on this one.  But, as some have  pointed out to us "whiners" its only the final score that matters.

:)  Go Playoffs!
Go Cats!

Tough way to end the season for CLU, but props to the Bulldogs for playing tough and finishing their season strong.  I only heard parts of the game on the radio - sounded like it was an exciting one.

Like DGI - I hope Rojas is OK.  Watching a backboard come onto the field is by far and away my least favorite part of the game.

Good luck to Oxy in the playoffs - looks like we'll find out shortly where they're headed....

As much as many of us would have thought that Oxy could have steam rolled the poets saturday night, I hate to even mention it, but i told you guys since the beginning of the year that the poets always seem to make the opposing teams have the fits. The poets have always been in close games since the last years and clearly should never be over looked. THe only shocking thing from last nights game was that the poets never (ever) come out with the win.

In all else, i'm glad to hear that the tigers bounced back. But now they should be aware of a poet team that should never gives us.

Great game for the Dawgs---THey sure did hold on.

Great job to the young hens on beating a good CMS team

I could not figure how the Poets went through the UR defense like they did, but they did and from the sounds of it they gave Oxy quite a scare.  I guess both teams learned an old  lesson, especially UR, never underestimate the other team.

DO.C......  you might be right about your pm but....I dont care..

Monrovia cat.......I guess some guys might consider what I said about to's as a whine, it wasnt inteded that way...just an observation and opinion.  As a fan, its hard when you see your team reach its potential and then wonder why they couldnt do it all year.

I wnet through the  UR program at the game yesterday and they have a lot of starters comng back next year.......it should be fun.

HA!  That was ESPN at its best...they figure that Oxy Bob was watching so they drop in the Male enhancement sales pitch!  Too funny.  Have fun in Spokane!
