Wondering what Oxy players or fans thought of Whitworth's pass defense..looks like Collins was able to complete a lot of short throws. 

They did defend the long pass very well. Oxy's receivers aren't the tallest guys on the planet and Whitowrth managed to bat down most of the long passes before our guys could get their hands on them. Screen passes and short routes seemed readily available and seemed to get a solid 4-5 yards with each completion. One odd thing that I noticed was Whitworth's blitzing philosophy. They didn't really seem to compensate for blitzing LB's etc. but rather just left one or two guys open and hoped to get to the QB before he could make the pass. Unfortunately for Oxy, they were able to over power our O-line a few times. Against a bigger and/or more experienced O-line, this approach could really backfire on them.

It's all that shine we make up here Spokane...In fact Whitworth has an area called the Back 40 (40 acres of untouched evergreen trees behind the school), which is perfect for the still.  This stuff would make even the guru act as dumb as me.

Here is one of those posts that usually gets me in trouble.

I would truly like to wish all of you a great Thanksgiving weekend.  There are some very nice people who post on this board and who despite myself, have been great.  Having my two college kids come home tonight made me realize how thankful I am for all God's blessings.  Meeting some of you, tooth, RFB, Dawg Fan1 and especially Mrs. coco has been alot of fun. 

I hope that each and every one of you will just take a moment and thank some one or something you believe in and count your blessings, tooth, your family sounds great, RFB, the beautiful bundle on the way and Mrs coco, the beautiful family you have.  Bob,  you should be thankfull too.  You are blessed with.......a keen wit and an unnerving sense of poetic wit and the best google abilities known to mankind. Oh yeah and Pat, your new job that I hear you are knocking dead.  Yeah, I know someone everywhere.
