It's a good thing that L.A. has baseball, soccer and arena football to keep people like me sane throughout these long dog days of summer.

Ah young one, sanity is maintained on long summer days through:

- wave riding (surfboard, body board, body surfing, whitewater, etc)
- water floating (ocean, lake, river, pool)
- cold beers
- grilled anything (beef, lamb, chicken, sausage, veggies)
- more cold beer
- good wine
- margaritas
- playing hooky from work to laze at the beach or take in a movie in the middle of the afternoon
- weekend road trips
- doing all of the above w/ your friends and family
- the key to sanity is simply grillin & chillin . . .

are those briquets ready yet?

Btw, Snoop, with the coming of some European super star to L.A., soccer at the home Depot this summer will sure not cause anyone to get insane. I think that's why the team decided to bring this young buck in.

I know you are an avid golfer and SCIAC fan.  So I am sure that you noticed that the Oxy Tiger's Olin Browne had the same score as that other Tiger today. 8)

As I post this, they are both one over and tied for twelfth.  OB (Olin Browne, not OxyBob) was one of the leaders going into the last round last year when he fell apart.  Tiger should have the edge because he has been playing for more years.
