I hope Redlands and Oxy get their rosters posted before the first game.

Whittier is still working on their numbers. :D

Whittier Roster is now complete!   ;)

Is it me or in the second question did he say ULV players didn't think they were on a college team?  He must be referring to the new players because when I was there after at least 6 hours a day every day of football related activities I knew I was playing for a college.

Oh yeah, there were certain aspects while I was there that felt very college football like. (The 6 hrs a day, and the few three-a-days with meetings in between.)

There were also certain aspects that felt very uncollege football like....

Like the red carpet room buffet in camp or the warm-ups for the Azusa Pacific games. :D
Hail to the Orange, Hail to the Green,
Hail to the Leos, FIGHT ULV!!!

It looks like Oxy will be last to be complete.

Just saw this on the CLU site.  Does anyone else find this pretty ironic after the basketball team there gave the school a lot of publicity, and not in a good way :o
Seriously though, who let this guy near the SID's computer.  Hey, can I write my own opinion column on there?

No wonder you can't wait to get home. ;)

QuoteCollins was the three-time Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference offensive player of the year, a second-team Division III All-American, and led the Tigers to three consecutive conference titles and a 26-game regular-season win streak.

I believe the quick move to the Aztec Bowl and a good showing there should have been mentioned.
Of course, I also believe the reason for two of those playoff exits should have been mentioned.

:)

Yeah me too.....bad weather and poor officiating. ;)   :D

This may run counter to every fiber in your being but not everything has to mention Linfield.

I liked the article.

QuoteFar from the national media spotlight, CLU competes in the NCAA Division III Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with such schools as Pomona College, Caltech, Occidental College and others.

Aren't the mighty Others playing Whitworth this week?

QuoteGames to watch

NWC vs. SCIAC
Three games will be played this coming week between these two conferences including Occidental at Lewis and Clark, Pacific Lutheran at Cal Lutheran and Redlands at Whitworth. These games are for conference bragging rights and the NWC has established itself over the past several years as the better conference. Redlands has a chance to show they are back on the national scene with a good showing at Whitworth. Pacific Lutheran returns almost their entire offense and will look to pounce on Cal Lutheran while they get adjusted to a new quarterback and a new head coach. Occidental is the heavy favorite over Lewis and Clark which is looking to continue its revival after canceling the remainder of their season in 2005 for lack of players.

Big game for Cal Lu this week, should answer a lot of questions.  Can't wait for kickoff!

Good luck to all the SCIAC teams, even Others.
Go TIGERS!!!

Tough days for Tiger Football.
