I think that they are looking to next year and writing this year off.  The leading tackler from last year is third on the depth chart.  He was a starter halfway throu first year and started last two years at L.B.  They moved him to the secondary and told him he was not athletic enough to get any p.t. Now he moved up to #2 at ss because the kid quit.

Pretty hard to write off a whole year after week one, I'd have to say that's fairly premature.  McEnroe will turn it around, he did so at Chaminade and I believe he's got it in him out in T.O.

Only a couple more hours and then it's tailgates and football!

good one. Drew just invited to the Bo Hi game tonight, by the time I get off work and get on the 10, it probably will already be halftime... What I am saying is that they are looking towards next year by playing new and younger players to get them the experience.  I am questioning the D-cord and what he has been doing so far. I don't think Mac will stand for it.  The kid had never played d-line and was a recruited J.C. transfer, not a hold over.

Four days into camp and starters are not given the chance to compete, sounds like  to me the may be looking towards next year and writing this year off.  .

I said this before and it will hold true they are looking to the future, I think Mac will turn it around, just not this year

FYI to the SCIAC message board, Whitewater loses at D2 St. Cloud State (MN) 26-16 giving up 23 points, I believe, after 4 costly turnovers.  Danny Jones was under heavy pressure most of the day and had a line of (unofficial) 16 complete in 36 attempts 1 TD, 1 INT, and 2 fumbles for 154 yards. To be fair, WW receivers did have a problem holding onto catchable balls, though. He also had 12 rushes for 10 yards after the negative yards taken out from sacks.  WW outgained the Huskies 347-277.  Defense played very good, but were on the field much of the game.  The turnovers killed any chance to win this game.  Justin Beaver ran 24 times for 177 yards (7.4 avg).
