FWIW...in no particular order or any reasoning worth much

Haskell Indian Nations at REDLANDS    Wha'?

Puget Sound at CLAREMONT-MUDD-SCRIPPS   Local Boys lookin' good (
(that's Island Style, not Inland Empire)

Carthage at WHITTIER   Get the Newbie family's hope up

Cal Lutheran at WILLAMETTE   Terrible to start at square one

Lewis and Clark at POMONA PITZER   SCIAC has an edge at the bottom

WHITWORTH at La Verne   NWC has the edge at the top

Occidental at MENLO   MENLO has been playing NWC teams for years now/at home

I think that they are looking to next year and writing this year off.  The leading tackler from last year is third on the depth chart.  He was a starter halfway throu first year and started last two years at L.B.  They moved him to the secondary and told him he was not athletic enough to get any p.t. Now he moved up to #2 at ss because the kid quit.
Pretty hard to write off a whole year after week one, I'd have to say that's fairly premature.  McEnroe will turn it around, he did so at Chaminade and I believe he's got it in him out in T.O.

Only a couple more hours and then it's tailgates and football!

Go Tigers!
Go TIGERS!!!

Tough days for Tiger Football.

snoop dawg

My picks...

Redlands in a rompum'

Oxy wins but gets some splinters from the Oaks

Stags at home

Willamette by 10 or more

PP & LC.....who cares?

Whitworth at ULV  .........Whit but much closer than you think.

Maybe... if the wife lets me out of my cage  ;).  For sure I'll be there against Whittier though.

;D good one. Drew just invited to the Bo Hi game tonight, by the time I get off work and get on the 10, it probably will already be halftime... So in the words of Tarn Sublett  "I'm gonna have to pass."  Whittier should be a good one I 'm gonna make some phone calls and see how many of the troops we can rally for that one.

Oh MAN! Snow I just noticed your quote under the fight song. That is freaking awesome I havn't thought about that one in years  ;D.  Thanks man you just made my day.

One of the most memorable quotes from the Dean of Football himself. Glad you liked it. I should write all of the good ones down before Alzheimer's sets in.
Hail to the Orange, Hail to the Green,
Hail to the Leos, FIGHT ULV!!!

What I am saying is that they are looking towards next year by playing new and younger players to get them the experience.  I am questioning the D-cord and what he has been doing so far. I don't think Mac will stand for it.  The kid had never played d-line and was a recruited J.C. transfer, not a hold over.

Four days into camp and starters are not given the chance to compete, sounds like  to me the may be looking towards next year and writing this year off.  .
I said this before and it will hold true they are looking to the future, I think Mac will turn it around, just not this year

Fear the Poet

Good luck to all the SCIAC today. Lucy and I are abit nervous about the young Poets' first game . Everyone stay healthy and bring those wins home!!

My predictions to make this fun are as follows:

Oxy over Menlo. (Easily)
Redlands over Haskell Indian Casino.
Whitworth over ULV. (I hope I'm wrong with this one.)
Whittier over Carthage (Bold last minute pick)
Willamette over Cal Lu (Close game, Speckman is a great coach)
Pomona over Lewis & Clark (Go Sagehens!)
Claremont over UPS (A pick 'em really)

UW-LaCrosse over APU.

Let's see how it goes.  Good luck everyone! Enjoy your games.

Offensive jitters or they were shutdown by a good Redlands defense?

Nice win for the Tigers on the road.

FYI to the SCIAC message board, Whitewater loses at D2 St. Cloud State (MN) 26-16 giving up 23 points, I believe, after 4 costly turnovers.  Danny Jones was under heavy pressure most of the day and had a line of (unofficial) 16 complete in 36 attempts 1 TD, 1 INT, and 2 fumbles for 154 yards. To be fair, WW receivers did have a problem holding onto catchable balls, though. He also had 12 rushes for 10 yards after the negative yards taken out from sacks.  WW outgained the Huskies 347-277.  Defense played very good, but were on the field much of the game.  The turnovers killed any chance to win this game.  Justin Beaver ran 24 times for 177 yards (7.4 avg).

I'm here. If you can't log on here then try the Redlands website link. If that doesn't work then you're SOL.
