Congrats to Oxy on a big win. Costly turnovers and penalties killed Redlands chances for the win. Tough way to lose such an important game. No way Oxy loses two conference games (Scenario needed for Redlands to win SCIAC) and there is no chance the SCIAC gets two teams into the playoffs. That's too bad because Redlands could very well go 8-1. Good luck to Oxy the rest of the way.

no problem  i was doing that as i watched my hometown Rockies play the biggest game in franchise history and drink a few Coors Lights ...sounds like Redlands was able to move the ball well, but mistakes and a fast oxy start doomed them.

Well,  Here's to the Dawgs pushing to 8-1 and keeping the pressure on OXY.  Who knows?  Crazier things have happened than the SCIAC pushing 2 teams into the playoffs.  It's a longshot, but not entirely out of the question.

Just back from our night out that kept me away from Patterson Field . . . way to go Tigers . . .

nevertheless, sure sounds like Cal Lu has replaced the wheels that had come off . . . and Whittier, regardless of this loss, always has to be considered a spoiler . . .

There's a lot of season remaining . . . . the pressure's on Oxy . . . like coach W said in the Star News piece . . . every game is a playoff game . . .
