Redlands broadcast team is very experienced. Outside of hearing the tenth plug or advertisement for casino pasta I will take them all day. [

Agreed ;)

I'm giving up on the quote function.  Mitch and gang do a great job.

TS,

Your team does an outstanding job as well. Keep up the good work!

Every time the Redlands announcers mention the word casino I think they are going to follow it up with San Manuel Band of Mission Indians....which would be a great thing for a school to get as a sponsor

Better yet, lets see how Cal lu's recievers respond to a tough Oxy CB, Safeties et al. corps.

BE-
Would that be the same pass defense that gave up 303 through the air to CMS and 438 to Redlands? ;) :)

snoop dawg

Scandi........no he meant the defense, where qb's throw the ball to the defenders rather than the receivers. ;)

Browneagle64

Yes, the same one's that made up the for their mistakes by 1) picking off the opposing teams q.b. when it counted during these 2 games, 2) the one's that are buying into their team's Defense and 3) the one's who will make it their mission to improve on yards allowed before they head out to pomona for this saturday's game against the Hens. Don't miss out on the action Scandii.  ;D

Hey Tsports----

I wanted to drop by the booth during the game on saturday and say what's up, but unfortunately, your security guard who was guarding your door all night made it impossible to reach your team. Keep up the great work.

I didn't know we even had a security guard.  We're on the side of the box near the visitors stands.  Y'all are always welcome to come by or email with a shout out.

QuoteIsn't that an outlawed offensive trick play? Perhaps the reporter meant fumbleitis. Last week she spoke about a "chalk block." Maybe Snoopy was right after all.

speaking of "chalk blocking" Chapman was cutting all freaking night. It is my opinion that the block should be outlawed. With people this big and athletic, blocking at the knee should be taboo. When I see OLineman diving at knees at the snap, I get pissed off abit.

I'm probably biased becuase Little Ricky could have busted a knee and leg..but regardless, I was about to go down and beat Owen's ass. :)

Browneagle, Oxy have alot of things to brag about so far this year, the defensive backs are not one of them. I agree with Scandi that the Tigers had better tighen up against the wide open passing of Cal Lu. Oxy overall should not have a problem though. Solid kicking game (the punter backed up Redlands all night long) Offense is solid and yes I know points win and stats don't matter, but... 539 yards, ouch! I would not brag about our defensive backs if they allowed that.  Of course, the interceptions did make the difference. Touchee!

(I know, I can't quite let go of that game, after two weeks of therapy, I am back on the board).
