Massey Ratings have Haskell at 686 overall in college football and L&C at 704. Snoop is right.
The Born Power Index also has Haskell less of a loser.

Scandi....I dont disagree with your position about the circular argument.  I didnt think I was using the margin of victory as a factor, but I can see how you got that from reading my post.  I was considering the fact that the UR -Oxy game was a very close one, and working on the hypothetical ,(certainly not a prediction or assumption), that UR  wins handily over CLU.  That, combined with the regional losses for CLU should have the AQ go to either UR or Oxy.  Just my opinion.

If UR wins a very close game, then, the whole situation becomes even more difficult.  I know the intent behind the RB  rule is a good one in theory, however, some might argue that the Big 10 came up with the rule based on economic factors.

I never made any excuses for the loss to Oxy, in fact, I stated that the penalties that were called on the last drive were UR's fault, imo. So OB, your post is incorrect as to any position I stated.  I dont think anyone can argue that it wasnt a close game.

I think we should start a new bowl every year where the two lowest ranked teams play!  What would we call it (Bob)?

Suggestions:

Tidy Bowl
Stagger Bowl
Failure Is An Option Bowl

No matter what it's called, the game will have to be sponsored by NBC and its hit reality show The Biggest Loser.

We are both Losers, but hey... someone has to win this game, Bowl!
4 is the smallest composite number, its proper divisors being 1 and 2. 4 is the smallest squared prime. 4 is the only number in the English language for which the number of letters in its name is equal to the number itself. 4 is also the number of titles in a row the tigers will have in '07!! Go Oxy

Re-post:  Deluded moment.

Pat predicts both Cal Lu and Redlands in the playoffs if we end up with a three way tie for the conference . . . so he predicts that Cal Lu will move up in the rankings over Oxy if Oxy wins and Cal Lu loses . . . hmmmm.

Head about to explode . . . who cares . . .

And now that I think about it . . . if Cal Lu wins . . . they're undefeated in conference and sole champion . . .

thus . . . (head still ready to pop) . . . must . . . be . . . DAWG fan . . . for Saturday . . . (aaauuurrrggghhhhh)

But there it is . . . the only way to FOURPEAT (with a shared title) is for Oxy and Redlands to prevail . . .

Sorry Scandi . . .

GO TIGERS . . . GO BULLDOGS . . . [feeling sick . . . room spinning . . . ]

No, sir. I predict that Cal Lutheran will get the automatic bid if Oxy wins and Cal Lu loses. Regional ranking is irrelevant. You are still deluded. :)

Snoop -- I feel fairly good about it if they win. Better if Whitworth wins also.

Has anyone viewed the D3football article on espn.com by Chris Fowler?  I guess college football gameday will be broadcasting from Williams College this weekend! Thats great!

Looks like Pat, his staff, and D3football.com has really assisted in bringing D3 ball to the forefront!

Here is a link if you didnt read it!

QuoteIf Redlands and Oxy win Saturday, there will be three SCIAC champions.  It doesn't get much better than that.  The playoffs are a bonus.

Respectfully disagree, sir. The so-called second season is warp speed in energy over the regular season save big rivalries.
A tad bit different if a team runs the conference table with authority, which is certainly not the SCIAC story this year.
