Any before any whining starts about not making the playoffs from CLU/UR/OXY...

Just remember that ULV went 9-0 in 95 and got no invite
It even prompted a column by Bill Plaske.

I hear that brother!  But I remember also hearing that they didn't get that invite because of some indiscretions in a hotel the last time they were invited to the playoffs . 

You know I'll be there tomorrow with a jug of my namesake.

The 1994 ULV team was very good, the 1995 team even better. Trashing the hotel was a big reason they were not given the bid the next year. Only sixteen teams made the playoffs back then so there was no room for error on or off the field. I truly believe the 1995 ULV team could have went deep into the playoffs. They had the size, speed, and depth to do so.

Hey RedlandsFan, Just to give you a heads up, the 2004 Oxy team won "2" playoff games. One against Willamette University and the other against Concordia-Moorhead.

College Gameday did a great job today showcasing DIII athletics. It's too bad the conference does not participate in the playoffs. It would be interesting to see how they stack up against the rest of the nation.

Wishing all the best to CLU today and crossing fingers that they win the title outright. No matter how it all ends the SCIAC has been allot of fun this year. Nothing like having the last regular season game mean something for the first time in a few years.

Monday night the coaches told the story to the boys about the shoes.  Little Ricky said it was very inspiring!  There's alot of history there!

On a side note, "LR" told us some of those "OXY BOYS" snuck over in the night and Painted their "W" orange and black along with a word change above the "W"!! ..Those Crazy boys!!  you can imagine the teams response!!
Ricky and I will be there proudly displaying the #63..stop by and say hi

Redlands scored on a touchdown pass, but Selway was over the line of scrimmage. That resulted in loss of down so Redlands kicked a field goal. Redlands was able to move the ball on the ground pretty easily.
