41-28 Whitter, 4 minutes and change left in the third.  Oxy to punt.

Ok, not sure if I can listen to this game any more than I already have!  Either way, congrats to Redlands for thSCIAC title.  I wish you the best of luck in the playoffs.
Cal Lu has nothing to habg their heads about.  Hope this off-season is a little better than last ;)
Oxy, thanks for nothing ;D  Actually, you guys have a lot to be proud of for the past 3.99 (tonight does not count) years and all the success you have had.
The OXY broadcast guys are top notch.  Give me a shout out if you are checking this out.

Congrats to ALL of the seniors in the SCIAC.  Best of luck in the real world :)

El Tigre

I'm glad I kept listening to the game.  Oxy scores with 28 seconds left bringing it to 67-61.  They kick an onside and get it.  They now have about 26 seconds to move the ball 59 yards .... TO WIN!\\

WHAT A GAME ... GREAT JOB TO BOTH TEAMS!
O.C. RAH!

Big thanks to the Whittier Poets on a big assist. Redlands is outright SCIAC Champs once again. Get ready for a big showdown with the Rats next week at the Runner.

In actuality I believe Cal Lu and Redlands are "Co-Champs" but the head to head tie-breaker gives Redlands the AQ for the playoffs (I could be wrong but I think that is how it works in the SCIAC).
Go Cats!

You are correct.

QuoteI do have a question though....how is it Whitter can put up so many points on OXY

#11 Scurlock the Sherlock is the answer because he figured out the Occidental defense and was on his A game probably making him the All Conference 2nd Team behind Selway.

I was humbled in being able to share my past two years No Playoff Pain with OxyBob at the game tonight thus aiding him through this most difficult adjustment to earthly atmosphere. All it took was several Milano cookies.

Fear the Poet...that was me who introduced himself. Not sure if that was made clear. A fun win for the Whittier program.

Correction then, SCIAC Co-Champs.

Moral of the story is don't wait to register to post until the final weekend of the season. Oddly enough, we have a little more on our plate than approving new posters.

It was a pleasure meeting you. What a game!!  One game turned a dissapointing season into one of promise for the future.
Oxybob was there with his usual class. Don't let the routine on the board fool you. He is a great guy who went on the field post game to track down Scurlock to congratulate him and wish him luck in his life after football.
