Try living in Temecula.
Armpit... nothing to do.. must drive at least 45 minutes to do anything worthwhile besides gambling. Boring town... bedroom community... fortunately I wised up, stopped trying to do something "good" and sold out my soul for $$ and the career track.
Shallow? Yes.
Wise? Yes.
San Francisco, even with the plethora of "unique" people, is 1,000+ times better than Temecula.

True.. There's always Morongo and Pechanga when you've got some cash to lose...
I miss San Fran and the bay...
As a native of Nor Cal, I too feel as if I sold my soul for $ and career track. I miss BART and don't know how much more of the 405 I can put up with on the west side. Rent is ridiculous... :P

And When I got to La Verne, I was confused when I heard our coaches teasing the local kids about being "dirt people" because they were from the 909.  :D
Hail to the Orange, Hail to the Green,
Hail to the Leos, FIGHT ULV!!!

Yesterday it was soccer talk, today it's another installment of Where Not to Vacation in California.  If this is what you talk about during football season, how depressing does it get here in the offseason?

I guess we'll find out in about 48 hours.

Yeah, Bethel will probably lose to Concordia (WI).  Another 1st round loss for the Royals, much like for the Bulldogs :D

Rent? LA? You have got to be kidding me. SF is outrageous. Or it may just be the fact that I live SOMA/Financial District.

As for Dirt People? Never heard that one in reference to the 909. But the IE does have some interesting aspects to it.... but I liked all of my teammates from the IE.

The casinos down there were depressing... just people throwing away money at the slots like it was no tomorrow. Did clean up at the poker tables now and again. Maybe staying sober was the key. But it is either Vegas or poker in the back room from now on.

I don't miss the 405. Nothing like a 10 minute walk to work in the morning along the Bay.

It really isn't that depressing in the off season. I am sure that in about 3 hours or so the talk will really heat up. But since there are alot of UoR fans heading out for the game, it will be a little more quiet than normal. You'll be able to find us in the basketball chatrooms or baseball chatrooms once the season is over, but hopefully not for another couple of weeks.

Or the "Where Not To Wear Your Panties As a Celebutant" discussion. That should get a rise out of a couple of people.

Ok, so to turn back to football - predictions please folks.

Whitecastle's are the best hang over food on the planet. In-n-Out sucks.  Any place that you can get your hamburger wrapped in a piece if lettuce should be shut down immediately.

In and Out are the best fast food burgers, trouble is that you need at lease two burgers on the bun to taste the meat.
In and Out are great for those who can't remember Sliders.  :D
There's only one way to find out if a man is honest...ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook.

D O.C.

It's their board and it's not mostly Redlands people who are chirping but back to football....for a minute.

Gagliardi's staff has looked down the bracket and will do just what it takes to beat Redlands and not show too much. What they will do if the johns do not bring their A game is what the rest of us will be listening for.

Now back to... Muscoy! Now there's a burg!!
