QuoteDan Selway was playing with a seperated shoulder coming into the game. He hurt it in the Cal Lu game and lost Brock Arndt as well.

Yes, I know all about team games, but this news is as big as it gets in an away play-off game at this level.

the johns go for it with five minutes left in the game....

<humor attempt> Please, Redlands, take to the trees to avoid that monkeystomp you will eventually hear about <humor attempt>

Not from here. The smack ends when the game starts. Nothing but respect for the Bulldogs.

Sorry.
The best player from the SCIAC is still alive in the playoffs at least. He had a very eventful game today beating Capital.

Great season, great team-- congratulations by Redlands for a gutsy and hard-fought performance.  Until the final two minutes of the first half, when the SJU buzzsaw finally woke up after sleeping for eight straight quarters, this was a heavyweight slugfest.

Safe travels on the return to Redlands and hopefully see the Bulldogs back in Collegeville again soon.

Great season Redlands! Way to come back as SCIAC Champs. Work hard in the offseason and come back strong next year.

Nice game from Redlands, Congrats on a successful season.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

D.O.C. and others. There has been lots of talk on how to handle it when you're puttin' on the monkey stomp on our board this year. Not much of a consensus, but what was agreed on almost across the board was that when you put in your backups, you have to let them play, for many reasons, but if they can't be stopped, that's not the winning team's problem.

Good game, Redlands.  Particularly the first half, before something woke the Johnnies up from a long time funk.

Congrats on the season and good luck next year.

Thanks for representing the SCIAC at the Big Dance U.O.R. Best wishes to all out going Pup seniors.

Congrats to Redlands on the season. They got props for their hitting on the sju broadcast.  And now I'll admit In-N-Out burgers are pretty good.

But why so bitter, D.O.C.?

snoop dawg

Bitter is his middle name unless its about....Linfield. 8)

Congrats to the dawgs on a great season, work hard, heal and come back stronger next year.  Congrats to coach Maynard on a winning campaign and to Coach Thomas on a great first season as OC.

and half the time about Linfield as well :)  But this year we were all pretty bitter in the NWC (at least for the past week).

Congrats to the Bulldogs on a good season.  I guess the West Coast is done for this year.
Go Cats!

Congratulations to Redlands.  You brought a solid, athletic team to town and performed well.  You gave our defense fits for most of the first half!

Thanks to those who stopped by the Stiftungsfestivites!  It was nice to meet many of the parents/fans and give you a Minnesota welcome.
