Legend has it that Mr. Collins played Q.B., Kicker, Punter, L.B., Punter return specialist, Special team's gunner, field goal blocker extraordinar, and once out ran a dawg in his sophmore year in highschool. 
And, yes, i think he did play some D in highschool last time i heard from people.

Btw, the guy currently has the body frame of a L.B. The last two times that i have seen him working out in the weight room at the Rock, Mr. Collins sure was working out like a LB

Kudo's the the Anvengers staff in letting him play on the D. I'm sure he'll do well in his new position.

Andy Collins makes his Arena Football League debut tonight for the LA Avengers against the New Orleans VooDoo at Staples Center.


Collins was waived this week, but was expected to be signed to the practice squad. Don't think he will play tonight.  Good luck to him and go SabreCats.

That WAS great news, until that last bit about the waiver. I'm sorry to read that.

I hope he will be signed to the practice squad. He's an outstanding athlete, and I'd like to see him have the chance to continue playing, the same as I wish for Elliott.

Per the depth chart, he does not appear on the two-deep QB listing;

He appears to be the first string, of two, Jack Linebackers.

Didn't see his name mentioned with the results of yesterday's Avenger loss.

Jack backer ? The dude is a QB. Wonder how he got there ? I know he has wheels and strength but did he ever play D in his FB life ? Is he #2 on the QB depth chart ? Ironic that he may get to see Bret Elliott (Linfeild)  from the D side of the ball. Last I saw Elliott is on the SJ Earthquake.

FWIW, the SJ team is the Sabercats. The Earthqukes play the other football, aka soccer.
