Alrighty here folks,
Now that the boys are out of finals, I have my spring recap:

1) Approx 30 freshmen coming in next season.
1a) 5-7 transfers coming, 2 O-Linemen, 1 from UNC and 1 from USD.
2) Successful Spring Practice (as reported by friends still on the team)
3) new DC w/ previous NFL camp experience and multiple JuCo national championship rings (as a DC).
4) Boosters Club continues to raise funds, and will be needed as the roster should be over 80 players and needs more locker space.

Thanks for the update guys. Keep them coming.

Just good enough for the Fags yearly bottom of the barrel SCIAC finish.

You are so bitter. Could it be the fact that every single Redlands fan puffs themselves up with so much arrogant pride that it is revolting? Every Redlands person thinks of themselves as the BSDs of West Coast DIII Football. If so, then prove it and schedule Linfield every single year. Sign a freakin' 20 year contract or something.  Or, does the bitterness come from the fact that you got bumped from the playoffs in the first round... AGAIN.

Come on dude. CMS is on the up and will have a strong year barring injuries or freak circumstances. Grow up and stop making juvenile, elementary plays on words.
I'll take no greater joy than watching those "fags" wipe that smirk off of your arrogant and condescending face.

Insert cheerleader-esque chant:

Touched a nerve I see. I thought my post would generate some smack. At least the Dawgs have sniffed a SCIAC title and playoff berth. Can't say that much for your alma mater. CMS as a football program is a joke. They were that way a decade ago when I played and it continues today. Sorry my man but the proof is in the pudding.

EastCoastStag

The joke is that as someone most likely pushing their mid 30's, you still care so damn much... and use such common "insults" to generate smack, because Redlands Football is all you have to entertain yourself.
Years ago, you're right, the program certainly wasn't doing much. Yep. I'll grant you that. Then there was a good run in the late 90's and the early part of this decade. So it was a joke those years when they were posting 7-2 records and contending for a title? What about when Redlands **** the bed a couple years ago and no fan had the decency to say "this just wasn't our year", instead of declaring it some fluke and still acting like that team was the cock of the walk (or however that expression goes).
Like I said, I can't wait to watch them wipe that smirk off your classless and immature face.

CMS vs Redlands (1988-Present)

Record: 2-18
SCIAC Championships: 0
NCAA Playoff Berths: 0

I guess since I'm in my mid 30's I need to retire. No more rooting for my alma mater or football program who I spent four years with. If I need to hang em up then I can't imagine what you feel about OxyBob or ST.

I don't need to make that comment, why point out the obvious?

The only time Redlands chants "Safety School!" at an opponent is when they're scrimmaging with Crafton Hills College.

To all the men and women  in the Armed Forces who are currently serving, previously served or have given the ultimate sacrifice to this great country, our thoughts and prayers are with you on Memorial Day 2008.

The Memorial Day services in Secaucus, NJ last Thursday evening and yesterday morning were well attended and went off well.  We have had the same kid playing taps since he was about 12, he is now a Jr or Sr in high school, the kid keeps getting better.  Yesterday the man who has been my mentor in the VFW and a PT boat sailor read the names of all the Secaucus war dead.  As he read each name a Boy Scout placed a flag at the crosses that we erect at the town hall every memorial day.  After the reading of the war dead the town kid played Taps and we raised the flags back to full staff.

Today the Stalkerette is taking Buddy Poppies to her class and teachers and is going to teach them what the Poppy means to the vets.

Thanks to all who took time to remember the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.

IF they can retain their young-uns, I think they have the potential to be the 80s Oilers.

But the Wings aren't ready for the Old Folks Home just yet. :D
