I wonder why they do not use a local HS field instead? I would think there is a good public or private HS facility w/ Field Turf nearby.

It is the local high school's field. They share with Menlo High School. Menlo-Atherton H.S. is a few miles away, but I do not know what their facilities are like. A couple of years ago Menlo played a game at San Jose City college, old style turf, because Menlo H.S. had a game scheduled the same day.

I've had much worse!
Earlham (NCAC) - tiny room with the toilet in the middle of the room
Whittier - outside, under a tent....
Redlands - I remember changing under the bleachers for some reason.....
Wittenberg (NCAC) - hard water in the showers and the smell of mold other things was horrible
I can't actually name the "best locker room facilities"

Best stadium I've played in? North Central's field (I think)

And speaking of... Here comes the playoffs in L.A.  Baseball and Football all in October. Man, How i love these games. Go Dodgers.
