FTP-

I know there are some Dodger fans who talk like that (I am careful to only make comments like that to Giants fans :D), but that was not so much my point.  I was just trying to show that during the last twenty years the 2 teams have been more or less equal.

I have no beef with Angel fans like yourself who have followed the team through thick and thin.  I just can't tolerate "Angel Fans" who believe Angles history started with the Rally Monkey.

the worst part of all this, is that the Dogs are still playing. My lifelong baseball inferiority complex shows its ugly head again. :)

I do however feel that the Halos have the neccessities and buoyancy to win next year. :)

Which many people predicted and had high hopes once your halo's aquired Hunter and Teixera. Even more, they are lucky that they still had the service of K-Rod. In the end, your boys just couldn't pull one out against the Botox from beantown. Best of luck in your long fall and winter and early spring.

As for my Dodgers, on to playing a team that we swept and also got swept by during the year. Should be interesting.

As for the Oxy v.s. Pup game review on Campus 5.0, it's not uncommon to see opposing SCIAC coaches scouting games at the Rock. Unfortunately, this time around I am sure Coach Maynard brought along a big legal pad to jot down how his team (with the loss of players) will lose on Saturday.. (hahah, just kidding. No piss matches by the way).
I'm sure he and his staff learned a lot from this Oxy/CMS game. I just wonder if he'll be sending that Odd video of him on a big scaffold yelling to his players the oddest speech ever about how they are Puppies and......... (well i forgot the rest since it was always odd to watch during film reviews)

Dawgs by 12 over Oxy, this post approved by Sarah Palin.
So we shouldn't ask any follow up questions regarding your prediction then Mrs. Palin?

I'll file in with Oxy over the Dogs by four on a late TD, 28-24.

Dodgers: 1735-1598, 1 World Series Championship, 1 NL Pennant, 4 Division Championships and 2 Wild Cards
Angels: 1707-1630, 1 World Series Championship, 1 AL Pennant, 5 Division Championships

So the Angels are so much better because they've won a few more divisional playoff games?
Don't forget the rally monkey, now that's some good ol' fashioned baseball for ya!   ::)

Go TIGERS!!!

Tough days for Tiger Football.

RFB

Who's making it out to the game this weekend? I'll have my little girl with me so save the sucker punches for later.

Browneagle64

It's Homies RFB, not homeboys.... :P.. Oh and remember, last year you predicted and pointed out that The Tigers will be taken any day over the Pups (i wish i knew how to pull up that old post, but, i'm no Oxybob.), please stick on to that prediction (hahaha).

Oxy over Fontuckies finiest... Go Tigers

I was a fan of the PCL Angels.  The Dodgers took them away, and I never really forgave them.  I guess I will have to root for them and the old Angel color man, however.
Fierce When Roused

Gig Harbor Cat

As a transplanted Dodger fan in the pacific NW I am happy to back my boys in blue.  I really felt that Anaheim would go, I believe they were 1 bunt away but the lefty AB didn't even get the blade close to the frickin pitch. Had to root for John Lester last night,  I coached against John his Sr year in high School-- What a Stud lefty, throws gas.  Quality young man.

Good Luck this weekend fellas

Peace out

Oxy D

New Poster here.

The upcoming Redlands-Oxy match has inspired me to shout out to the current Tigers.

Go to Redlands and don't let up!  Most of you know how good it feels to shut their drunken crowd of idiots up.  Give it to them early and often boys!

Of course, I predict Oxy to win.  I'll say by two touchdowns and thats just cause Redlands will manage some garbage points when this one is put away.

Browneagle64

Whaaaaatttt??? And all this time I thought that the crowd at the Runner wouldn't be so rowdy. You mean to tell me that RFB and Snoppy can be heard from the stands through their drunken tyraid. (just kidding RFB and Snoop) I'm sure UoR has a good crowd. Especially and hopefully a family like atmosphere since people like RFB will take his child to the game. Depending on how much celebrating and adult drinking I do the night before (due in part to celebrating another dodger victory) I may just make the long trek to Fontucky/I.E. and attend the game. After that I'll be sure to stick around for the Post Oxy victory party and well on my way to the Coachella desert to find Roger Waters lost floating Pig (word has it that its lost and found reward has reached up to $12,000). Go Tigers.

by the way, welcome to the Board Oxy newbie

snoop dawg

In the games I attended at the Runner, I never saw a rowdy or rude crowd.  Maybe the kids on sofas in the end zone were drunk but not the people in the stands.

No kidding. If he wouldn't, there would be no game for him.

Even the folks at the end of the field have been good sports at Redlands.

Ha! Ha! Charade you are.
That pig was floating above Tower Records one day when I opened my window much to my surprise. It's gigantus.

Aint that the truth. The wife might be there as well. My daughter only liked to clap her hands when Whitworth did something good. I wanted to walk her over to the Whitworth side and leave her there. Next thing I know she might be filling out college apps to be an Eagle Rock Homie.

Your little girl likes to cheer for the other team...sounds like she might be headed towards the path of being a USC Song Girl.

Geeze, even hypothetically your daughter would make a wise choice in choosing a better school than UoR. Nows that genius.

And yes D O.C, no charades here. There truely is a gaint balloon that looks like a pig that left Roger Waters set during his appearance in April at Coachella. I was there when that massive balloon escaped its handlers and heared Roger say after the concert that he would give anyone 10,000 if they could find it and return it. I'll be on the look out. Hahaha
