Fear the Poet

last year we tailgated across the street from the west endzone by the dorms and had no problem at all.

Ditto.  It's a "dry" campus by all University accounts, fortunately for visitors they don't enforce that.
Go TIGERS!!!

Tough days for Tiger Football.

TGP-

Oswald is correct, technically it's a dry campus.  I think, however, if you keep it low key you shouldn't have any problems.  This year some PP supporters set up on the lawn near the library and seemed to do just fine.  If you do run into problems with CLU security you can always make like the current students and relocate to the park across the street. ;)  Straight down Pagent from the Admin Parking lot.

thx.  i probably will be well behaved (this time anyway) given the likelihood of having my 4 yr old in tow.

I highlighted two other points of interest on Scandi's map.  A is the park he referenced, B is the football field, and C is the closest liquor store  ;D
Four year old or not, every fan deserves a beer.

Saturdays game betwen Oxy and CLU  should be a good one.  I think I will have to pop over and watch it and say hi.  Can't wait.

you'll probably be alone, becuase the matchup everyone has been waiting for is this saturday as the Mighty Poets take on LaVerne.

nice!  k+

any of you who have children (and even those who don't) probably realize nothing drives you to drink more quickly than having kids around

D O.C.

Quotenothing drives you to drink more quickly than having kids around
Now that's ironic...the drinking is probably what caused the kids.

I'm supposed to bring a lawn chair to the free game.

Oswald - outstanding geographic breakdown!

Thought I'd add two other recommendations to point C.  In the same strip mall as the closest liquor store, you will find pregame dining at Fresh Donuts (Chocolate Chip Rolls are a once in a lifetime culinary experience) and postgame dining at 3 Amigos, long the stomping grounds of SCIAC board luminaries like OxyBob.

And Dens, seems like it's usually the drinking, or someone forgot to pay the cable bill. :D

With suggestions like these Scandii and Oswald, I'm sold on making the rare visit to T.O. this saturday.  Although, I'll probabily be recovering from yet another hang over and sugar rush from all that halloween candy, like I did this past saturday, nothing sounds better than a chocolate chip roll and 3 Amingos food. Arrrriibba Arribba. lol)

I'll make sure I notify the local authorities your coming. ;)

Just let them know that I'll still be sporting My Cal Lu basketball team uniform from the previous night's halloween party. Im sure your local authorites already know what that uniform looks like.
