you will find pregame dining at Fresh Donuts (Chocolate Chip Rolls are a once in a lifetime culinary experience)
Will cardiac arrest happen during, or after, the game? :D

The rankings are nice, but I have to think that the WIAC schools are under credited because of how competitive their conference seems to be this year.

I just hope that Oxy is able to bring its A players and A game to the pitch in TO this weekend . . .

Io Triumphe!

The first regional rankings are out:

WEST REGION

1. Willamette 7-0 (regional record), 8-0 (overall record)
2. Occidental 6-0, 6-0
3. Monmouth 8-0, 8-0
4. UW-Stevens Point 3-1, 6-1
5. UW-Whitewater 5-1, 6-1
6. Cal Lutheran 5-1, 5-1
7. Redlands 5-1, 5-1
8. Northwestern (Minn.) 5-1, 7-1
9. Concordia-Moorhead 4-2, 5-2
10. St. John's 5-2, 6-2

I am surprised to see Cal Lutheran ranked ahead of Redlands. Someone with knowledge will have to explain that to me. I guess a win over Whitworth is not worth as much as a loss to Willamette.

All of the rankings are here:

Maybe it's like the D1, a loss early in the season hurts you less than later in the season.
Go Cats!

Congrats to Oxy and Monmouth! Here are your prizes:

Oxy, even though you are undefeated, you'll travel to Oregon for the first round.

Monmouth, you'll get to enjoy hosting the defending champ UW-W.

In 2006 it was when the wind stopped blowing just as Pearce stepped into his potentially game winning (but extremely distant) field goal attempt... ;)

We have the same exact issue in the East.  The most of Top 5 is pretty accurate, but there are some teams included (like Plymouth State for instance), that really shouldn't and there are some teams excluded (like St John Fisher) that probably should be on the list.

A few - WPI, Husson have potential but are relatively unproven.

Fear the Poet

is there a list of the bottom ten somewhere?     >:(

I suspect that two of them would be Principia and Lewis and Clark.....

Speaking of Principia, any thoughts on their big match up this week against their Conference leader, the Huntingdon Hawks?

SLIAC Schedule

Do they lose by more or less than L&C lost to Willamette (76-10 Final Score)?  Consider that L&C put the hurt on Principia (43-7 Final Score) in the first week of the season.
Go TIGERS!!!

Tough days for Tiger Football.

MonroviaCat

I think they will lose by less but that's just a guess.  :-\
Go Cats!

Stoonk, I plan on it.  I will be looking for you around the field somewhere.
I will be wearing neutral cardinal and purple colors.   8)

So, what is the "Rose Bowl Rule" that your posts keep referring to?  Just curious.
