Since Nixon went to Whittier and Obama went to Oxy, maybe they need to have a Presidential trophy in some other sport. 

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and state for the record that I think Obama will work out better for Oxy than Nixon did for Whitter.  


For those of you in So Cal who are interested, this Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. on the local PBS station (KCET), Huell Howser's program "California's Gold" will focus on Obama's time at Oxy:

Who knew that the next president of the United States had such a formative connection to California? Well I sure didn't! Join me as I get the Presidential tour
of Occidental College in Eagle Rock, where Barack Obama spent his Freshman and Sophomore years. We'll visit his dorm room, talk to some of his old professors,
and learn how his two years there helped to shape him.

Since Huell is doing it, I guess we can rest assured that this isn't a Republican expose on time spent with sex, drugs and rock 'n roll in Eagle Rock. 8)

No impact other than rankings.  Oxy has clinched the championship based on the head to head competition.

I can't wait to see this. Huell will be excitedly prompting his cameraman, "Wwwwwooooowwwwww! Hey, look at this, [name of cameraman]! This is the actual room in Haines Hall where Barack Obama inhaled marijuana and snorted cocaine! That's amazing!"
