The least you would want on your grad school record is an arrest for beating the crap out of a Bearcat fan(s) O.C 63. Be wise. Definately drink, be responsible, let any fool do their trash talking all they want, but, in the end, celebrate Oxy's victory. Welcome to the board Newbie and please enjoy the playoff game.

I doubt that beer will be on the menu at this event, OxyCenter63, but thought you might want to check it out.

Not sure why it says there are no advance ticket sales, they've been selling them since Wednesday.

RFB

Good luck to Oxy tomorrow. Represent the SCIAC and bring home the victory.

Sorry I couldn't make it up for the trip, guys.  You'll have to make do (due?) with a broadcast that will actually sound professionally done.  Good luck to the Willamette broadcast team and, of course, to the Tigers.

Is there anyway those who don't live in Salem can get advanced tickets.

I doubt it.  You should be fine though, as long as you show up at least an hour before the game.

No, I called and tried, cash or check only when you get there. :'(

So.....PC asked you two to write a couple sentences and you blew hard?
BCP will be inviting OB to sit in the press box Saturday, non?
Traditionally, I sit in the student section at home.  As much as I'd welcome OB there, I'm not sure the rest of the Bearcat Bench would.

Me vs. the Bearcat Bench is like a blue whale vs. krill.

OxyBob

Be warned Bob...the Willamette student body isn't afraid to tell "mature" fans from the other team to go screw themselves or call them life long losers because they didn't attend Willamette.   ;)

BTW...be sure to tell all the Oxy players to make sure their valuables are locked up nice and tight when they leave the locker room.  :D

I was going to warn Bob about our bush-league fans in my previous post, but I knew wildcat11 would take care of it for me! ;D

Just providing a public service to our SCIAC brothers.

BTW...it's "Busch" League.  As in the Busch League series of racing, which was seen and known as a 2nd rate racing circuit.  So things people saw as low rent would be casted as "Busch League"......which is a very accurate description for a segment of the Willamette student body fan base.  ;)

ummm....NO

Bush league:
Also see Bushleague. Adj. 1) Below good standards, not good or incorrect. Pitiful, poor, terrible, awful, bad.  Amateur performance. Behavior that doesn't belong in the major leagues.

It is derived from baseball, not auto racing.

+k Stealth--  Ive known Wildcat 11 for awhile and if he says bush its bush--Thanks for verifying.  In fact the last time 11 played against a bush league team the goal posts came down at the Catdome.

Phone it in

GHC

The last time Linfield played that bush league team, 52 points went up (on the scoreboard) at the Catdome.

Best wishes to the Tigers tomorrow up in Salem.  Like most of you, I wish this game was the West Region final.  I'll try to be happy with the idea that the Tigers can "host out" if they bring home a W.  Two or three straight home playoff games?  For a SCIAC team?  A few years ago that would have been crazy talk...  I guess we can take that as a sign of progress.

On a different note, I am glad the Kingsmen were able to close the season with a big win at Redlands.  It's both an honor, and a bit frustrating, to be the last team left off the board in the West.  I know 2 losses are usually the kiss of death, and so I was realistic about their chances.  I thought maybe, by beating a regionally ranked team on the road to close out the season, that might have been enough.  Regardless, it was a good season for the Kingsmen.  Their defense was one of the best I've seen in recent memory.  It's no coincidence that Redland's & Oxy's high powered offenses had their toughest days (or most mistake filled, depending on how you want to look at it) against CLU. ;)  I am excited about what the future holds.

with McEnroe at the helm, CLU will be a tough team to beat for a long time. They should have got in.

Hey, free breakfast! All right! I've got some OSU gear and can blend in.

You Oxy guys might want to allow plenty of time to find a place to park, and the line will probably be long and slow-moving. That's the worst thing about attending Willamette games. That and the homer announcer who has to say, "And it's ANOTHER WILLAMETTE FIRST DOWN!"

OC63, be careful of the tanked-up students, too. Wildcat 11 isn't kidding.

OxyCenter 63, Should you want to drown your sorrows after the game, there is a place down the street from the Cat Cavern that has a wide variety of microbrews that might help.   ;)
