I still have to disagree this was the REAL E8 championship as both teams are 1-1 but i woul dhave rather had this game obviously.  I think 2 key plays in the game.. SJF completing the pass to the 1 on 4th and 17? and the SC fumble on the one...reverse those two plays and SC is goin to the finals...but they're not. Congrats to all.

WOW WOW WOW...Just got back from a little football party and I think for the first time I know what heaven is like. My Freshman year Fisher Went 1-9. I was there for the rebuilding years, and we always said as the team improved year after year, "Some day, this team is going to be a real player in D3".
I always said it but never officially believed it. Well today I believe . Man this is the sweetest feeling for an alum.
For the first time in my Fisher life I am not more excited about basketball season.

Keep it commin Fisher Fans, students, and alum. Lets hear how proud you are...we have earned the feeling...

Stories like that. That is why I love how far Fisher Sports has come. My 4 years in the soccer program we did not have a record below .500. The Football team was garbage when I was a freshman. The basketball team was good, but def not what they are now.
Baseball was nothing to speak of.

And now...I was a freshman in 2000, 6 years later, all of this. I still can't believe the Football team is doing what they are doing.

AUKaz00 and AUPepBand plan to make the trip. Would bring the band along, but probably not Fisher's style. That's okay, don't have the music to the Fisher fight song, if there is such a thing. BTW....perhaps the Fisher poetic poster (been putting lyrics to Christmas carols, etc.....can't remember who is doing it) should write a fight song for the Cardinals!

AUpepband...somebody should write a fight song...It doesn't feel like a true college football game without one. I always envy AU on that front.

ok just got back to my brothers house after the game....AMAZING GAME!!!! This fisher team is incredbile...  I think Rowan is going to have a hard time scoring on fisher and I think the Fisher D is good enough to put up enough to beat ROwan.  Sat next to the Kramer family...Boy was kramer good today...and that defense I can't say enough about them....AUpep...if the band wants to come please bring them it would be fun...  we have no fight song...
