You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

To all SJF fans,

Good luck on saturday.  Unfortunately, I can't make the game this weekend, though I will be listening to it.   Looks like SJF has a pretty solid team.  It should be a great contest.  I would expect that Rowan does not commit as many mistakes this weekend(ie 3 INT's) May the best team win!

Just got back from Dallas and checked the scoreboard.  Nice win for Fisher.  I suppose this means we won't be hearing from Fan of Bandwagon Riding for about 11 months.

fan of d3

more like 8 months but yeah you're right. Fan of bandwagon riding signing out for season.

boobyhasgameyo

you can be nice addendum it's just that alot of the Fisher posters have been here well beyond this season...

BOB- thanks for your kind words, it's maybe the most focused I've ever seen the boy-just knew he was going to do what it would take to keep the season going- A giant step for the Fisher program as they continue to climb towards the plateau you guys are on-man what a ride !!!!

AUPepBand

er1948:

Best of luck to your boy and the Cardinals Saterday. Hoping SJF will be hittin' the Profs as hard as they did our Saxons a few weeks back. Haven't said this before, but AUPepBand believes Mark runs as hard as former AU great Jesse "Mr. Versatility" Raynor but also has agility of AU great Ray Rogers--a great combination. AUPepBand and AUKaz00 may be at Growney adding kazoos to the Fisher cowbells.

Back when Rowan was Glassboro State, AU played the Profs at Merrill Field (can't remember year and can't look it up right now) but Saxons prevailed, 23-9. AUPepBand believes SJF will likewise prevail by a 23-9 score. Go Fisher! Carry the E8 banner to Salem!

wow- i had a lot of reading to catch up!
A great crowd is a must next sat!
weather looks iffy- but you guys at fisher need to fill that new stadium!
What is the capacity?

AUPepBand

#10224
AUPepBand would say the capacity of the vistors' bleachers is about 300, of which some 100 seats are actually NOT obstructed by football players standing on the sideline. But official "capacity" is listed at 2,100 (seems low). From AUPepBand's attendance at 2005 AU-SJF game, would say there was crowd exceeding 3,000 with room for more.

au in the third person is funny :P
though fisheralum91 would never speak that way....

2100- millions of dollars and it only has seating for2100?
wow.
Well i hope it is a loud 2100!

AUPepBand

Would be happy to host the game at the more spacious Merrill Field (capacity 5,000)....which also features a vintage urinal trough in the men's restroom, as already duly discussed on these otherwise highly esteemed boards.

The seating is only 2100, but when they pack them in the surrounding areas on Homecoming and the UR game it gets close to 5000 (i think there was over 5000 in 2005 vs UR).....

It would be sweet to get them close to 5000....

AUPepBand

AUPepBand remembers Super Bowl East, a matchup of undefeated Hobart at undefeated Alfred back in 1972 that drew more than 7,000 to the "old" Merrill Field. Like Growney, there's a lot of room for overflow at Merrill Field. Hoping the Cardinals get good support. Crowd of 5000 would, indeed, be nice.

Now, AUPepBand needs to write a fight song for Fisher. Any suggestions on tunes? Some schools adopt tunes from well-known major college fight songs and alter the lyrics.

Incidentally, just talked with the AU Pep Band President and sousaphone player. He'd be willing to play for Fisher....will need to talk to a couple of trumpet players. Believe the pep band is suffering from withdrawal...playing at Growney Saterday may be a good fix.

superman, just out of curiosity, would you pick against fisher? i admire your loyality to the cardinals.
