yes there is an ELKS club here in alliance

Thanks for the info on the Elks, how about a good place to eat Fri night???

Try Polinori's at 1441 South Liberty, about 10 minutes from campus.  It's not fancy (anything but) but the food is very good (try anything with pasta, or a great steak at a great price.)  And if you like a drink with dinner you can't beat their bartender.  330-821-2680.  They open at 4:00 and I would recommend reservations if you're going after 5:30.
Thanks for the info, looks like my kind of place

FA91- you will forever be mentioned in Fisher lore as the savior of the lucky fan in place of Superman who dropped the ball, but has a chance to redeem himself this weekend

Apparently, over the weekend, Fisher became a player on the national stage and Superman became a cliche machine...someone's fired up

superman57

Jose does have a bead on a pair of Ohio State-UF tickets but, they are the wrong Ohio State-UF tickets.  Not Jan 8 in Arizona but, December 23 in Gainesville.  Could be a preview of the National Championship hoop game in March.  Wouldn't that be something if those two schools met in both games?

UF is already an 8 point 'dog.  I think OSU is the better team too but, coming out of the SEC has to keep Florida within one score...right?

Superman...love the 1980 hockey pic....best of luck for a similar result... We look forward to a great game. Seriously hope both teams play their best and let the chips fall...

a little more information for SJF  fans...the Belden Village area in North Canton is probably a better bet for motel/hotel rooms and the selection of eating establishments is unlimited there...plus, the pro football Hall of Fame is five minutes away...a 20-25 minute drive to Alliance...

If you are coming in late and just want a bed and breakfast, I would suggest the Comfort Inn or the Holiday Inn express...Bob Evans is right between the two...

Pre game meal for 5 to 7 bucks in the campus center, open to all fans is a great deal and a good place to meet and greet all fans, the food is very good...the tailgaters will be behind the covered stands in the parking lot...no space there unless you arrive very early, if at all...Other teams have set up areas elsewhere...I am sure the MUC tailgaters would love to meet and share stories and spirits...

Many Mount fans are excited to see a different team from the East and are even more excited that it appears that we will play game one in 2007 and 2008...

I think you will find Mount Union a great place to watch a game and although the majority of the covered bleacher fans sit on their hands... the side on which you will be seated will be boisterous...to say the least...and have the more  football savvy fans
the security is pretty tight and will quickly remove anyone who gets too crazy.however that is really not common...

All seats in the stadium are reserved for playoffs, so early rush to the stadium is not necessary.. Extended weather says 40's and flurries...

Have a safe trip, and we look forward to Saturday...

'Gro's predictions about the crazy Mount fans has not materialized yet...

superman57

we don't play you guys next year it's 2008 and 2009 I think we still have a contract with Kings next year

Super you are breaking your rhythm.  That is consecutive posts without a cliche.  Don't go all normal on me now.

Here, I will give you a prompt to get you back into your cliche groove.

Do you happen to know how Mount's players put on their pants?

one leg at a time my friend one leg at a time

No... I think it states that there's a Mount fan with a lot of free time on their hands.  A pretty well done video considering no video was used.  Mount respects every opponent and will show SJF all the respect in the world.  Should be a great game.  Safe travels to everyone who's coming over to Alliance.
