Pilot-  Feel free to come back sometime down the road, I sent you a message as well.  I can assure you Jose is a pretty decent guy, who is a great fellow Bomber fan.

So how badly are we going to beat Cornell on Saturday?

I think a win for us against Cornell is just having everyone escape healthy, especially our OL.  I never considered it but somone in here told us some horror stories (NCBomber54 perhaps?).  As much as I would like to beat our cross town rival in what amounts to a preseason game, I just hope we are healthy for Huntingdon.

It will be interesting to see who takes the snaps against the big boys though.

Nice detective work Tecmo.  I looked and didn't see him on ND's roster either...I wonder where he is.

Tasker ended up at Kansas.  But he's not playing football; at least not this year.

Hey Maverick-

like ICEMAN said, you sound pretty dangerous.  no matter, welcome to the board Pilot-  we're all friends here, well.. i take that back, at least the bomber fans are... no one's out to "educate" anyone, and if thats what it appears to be, you're reading too far into it-  with that aside, nice to have yet another Bomber to the Bomber-Wing on the E-8 board.  always nice having plenty of ammo to throw at the cortland folks that start talking trash in the first week. be sure to check out the FDC come sept 2nd, (i'm not sure how many of 'em will be representin' at the Cornell Game, kinda early for students to be back, i for one will not be in attendance unfortunately.  if you like what you see, come join, and we'll hook you up with a t-shirt too (for a nominal fee...).

too bad about Killa Kam, indeed a spectacle... oh well-

my last question... i hear BK earned pre-season honors... HOW!  he's missed so many clutch kicks .. just in the last 2 years alone, why does he deserve more praise?!...  doesnt Beecher have any more eligibility?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone heard if Bomber home games will be on XMIEvents.com again?  Have they decided to add any road games? (The last time I remember a road game being on TV was 2002 at Hobart when Felicetti returned from injury and we got beat.)

Sent a personal message to a bunch of you.

Hey, word is that the Bombers/Cornell scrimmage is going to be at Butterfield on Saturday.  Four weekends of football in a row in Ithaca coming up!  Bad news for the gas bill at the Napoleone household!

tecmo..

Thanks for the message.....and traveling to Butterfield again is a pleasure....you know that!

Can't believe we are finally getting started....!!!

Jose hit the nail on the head....getting a look at a lot of guys is important....a healthy ending is what will really make the day.....this is always a great test....Cornell is typically HUGE....
"We bust ours so we can beat yours..."

Indeed Cornell tends to be huge..

How many scrimmages do we have going this weekend? Stinks that we have to wait until next weekend. :(

Hello Everyone!!

Another year is about to begin! does anyone know for sure Cornell is at Butterfield and what time? And who will all be there Saturday, myself and Mr. Gordon will be in the lot for some refreshments.

Also i guess the cat is out of the bag, Bam Bam will not be playing this year He WILL be helping out on the sidelines though, he's not too happy about it, but things happen, he is glad to still be with the team though.

Doesn't look like the xmievents.com page is working, that doesn't bode well......

The link doesn't work anymore, but I think the games were only supposed to be archived for 6 months.  Not sure if that's why there's nothing there or not, but I'm trying to stay optimistic.  I think XMI did a great job last year, outside of the overtime debacle.

I'll email my student's mom that works in alumni about the telecast.  Will let you know!
