I think now the east can effectively step out of being called the "last place region"...after the last 2 years I think we can say the East deserves to be ahead of the south...at least at this point.

Fantastic Job SJF!
I'm sure it will take some time to recognize what your team accomplished this year and for the seniors it's a very tough loss.
That being said... you're a class program..with class fan support.  I want to wish all of you guys the best next season and hope that we have the chance to meet again on the field soon.

D O.C.

SJF holding their heads high.

Do not be satisfied with the semis.

Back to the books, Happy Holidays, back to the books, keep the comaraderie up and come out swinging next season.

Scheduling MUC is a bold step that could pay off nationally.

As a side note, if MUC has yet to sign the contract for 2008-09, this game will convince them to do so.

Not only does the game show that Fisher is now a solid program, but also that their fans are classy.   Hopefully this will get it done.

In the end, I think this would be a good move for Mount Union as well (not that they need any more competition!)

Just got in - wow that's a long drive towards the end!

MUC is tough, our boys played a hell of a game... MUC is just that good. We had a few opportunities to take the lead & maybe win the game but with the blocked FG early in the 4th that would have cut it to 19-17 it really changed the game. After that Kmic was too tough to stop. He's a great back and ridiculously tough to bring down, but if you weren't at that game I don't think the video stream would give their O-line enough credit. They are huge and open up things to the point where we couldn't even touch him until he was 5 yards down field - we just were outplayed there.

Robinson should have gotten the ball 40 times - they toyed around with the drop back pass and it bit them in the ass. MUC is just too quick to do that with them - Robby was getting positive yards every time and was only getting better with each carry. I don't think we utilized our TE's enough today either, we should have gotten them involved instead of looking down field - MUC will eat anyone's lunch who tries that on them.

Bottom line is MUC was the better team, and our boys left it all on the field. Tons to be proud of fellas - Good luck in Salem MUC.

Yep that's pretty much on target....and I too wondered why they didn't run at least a little more often.

On another note, doesn't Kramer look like he was about to burst out of his clothes?  That pregame meal must have been something...

They should have run a LOT more PG - O-coordinator is terrible. That safety was on him ... 2nd & 2 from inside our 25 and he tries to throw long twice in a row... come on. You can't try to pull that stuff against MUC.

They were too good to drop back and throw & Robby was getting positive yards most every time - We could run on their defense.

Out to eat, talk to all later on.

You think that's disrespect? You ain't seen disrespect.

Sorry, I didn't realize this was the "let's pat St. John Fisher on the back for getting trucked by Nate Kmic" board. Y'all would finish 5th in the OAC and were really lucky to only lose by 12 considering ya got almost doubled up in yards. So congratulations on being located fortuituously and managing to keep it close despite being completely and totally overmatched. Capital and BW would love playing you, and I'm guessing Ohio Northern, John Carroll and Marietta would give you all you want.

Earn respect by not getting physically dominated outside your weak region. The national finalist from the left side of the bracket was a foregone conclusion when Mount beat Capital, just like the other side was when UWW got past St. John's.

There. I think you should be able to feel good playing the "lack of respect" card now.

Like I said, I asked the question earlier in the week and got no response. So I guess then it was about St. John Fisher and how they were going to beat Mount Union...whoops.

Screw it...I'll find out some other way.

Frank Rossi

Dude,

I think you want some sort of response, but honestly, your rant merits NONE.

Actually there's no real obvious response to it because it's all so self-evident. You can't argue with any of it.

EDIT: ADD
National champs from the OAC, NCAC and Michigan -- 15. National champs from any conference in New York or any New England state -- 4, none since 1991.

All you need there really.

Now tags, this is the true definition of toolbox.

Sorry for the unpleasant facts...

Y'all could have simply answered my very reasonable question (which I know you have to know the answer to, since they ran up 55 points on you), and none of this would have happened. But you had whine and moan about not getting respect because someone actually dared to post about someone other than St. John Fisher who fought so hard even though they still got stomped.

You are the one whining, Why don't you go back to whatever board you came from that doesn't want you either.

Yeah who whined? Frank said to focus on Fisher today and he is a Union fan..... So who whined? You went off on a rant about how weak the east is and how Fisher would finish 5th in the OAC which I doubt.  But keep thinking it, that's nice....

boobyhasgameyo

Annnnnnyway my quick thoughts on the game.  Nate is amazing, I never saw a running back today that I thought was just better than Robinson but I thought that today.  Fast as all hell and if it weren't for Stepnick on a couple tackles he would have broke loose for a couple more TD's.  Definitely thought we should have used the TE's more and added that dimension to the game, especially considering how effective it was earlier in the season.  Amazing game, I loved being there it was awesome.  I am still so pumped.  Great season Fisher even though you would get completely wrecked in the OAC or anywhere else!!
