Well I thought if you wanted to play the respect card (which my post had nothing to do with anything disparaging Fisher, just merely asking a question I had asked before about another team in the conference), well I'd make it worth your while and at the same time let you know that losing by 12 ain't all that and it's not worth a moment of radio silence for all things not Fisher (on an open message board, nothing is).

If y'all didn't want to talk about it no one had to respond. But one a**hat acted like it was an affront to bring up another team which is ridiculous.

I don't care if Frank is a Union fan...just another school to bite the dust against an Ohio national champion.

What also doesn't gather merit in my mind is your argument of Fisher and how they played Mount Union.  Let's look at it.  Fisher's defense held Mount Union under their average of yards on Offense.  Fisher's offense had more yards than what Mount Union averages.  Fisher had the first 100 yard rusher against Mount Union this season.  Fisher defense held Mount Union way below their ppg average.  Fisher offense tied Capital for most points scored on Mount Union and were a field goal block away from beating it.  So how exactly are the OAC teams better when these averages come from playing them?

And I would love to see teams like Ohio Northern try and defeat Rowan 31-0 or Union or Springfield.  I think the OAC is good because of Mount Union and Capital but don't be foolish enough to think teams like Fisher would finish 5th in it.

First off, you're wrong about Fisher tying for scoring the most points on Mount Union. Apparently you can't read a schedule/results link. Marietta scored 17.

If you're trying to say you're better than Averett (another team with a decent record completely inflated by awful competition), Otterbein, Muskingum, Heidelberg...congrats, that's such an accomplishment for a so-called region champion. If you're trying to say you're better than Ohio Northern or Marietta...maybe. You weren't better than Ohio Northern last year, but maybe this year. This is probably about where they fit in.

Maybe you should put that in the St. John Fisher recruiting guide.

National semifinalists -- slightly better than the average Mount Union opponent.

I don't know where this comes from, but SJF is there with Capital , BW, and ONU...
Take Pentello away from Cap and see what is left...He was the man in that program and Hauslers on D...we will see what Cap is made of with out Rocky....
SJF, great effort today...I doubt you will get anything but praise and respect from Mount fans

This the same Rowan that was 0-5 in title games in the 90s, never having come within 10 points of an opponent? That gave up 134 points in 3 tries to Mount Union? Just checking.

You think that's disrespect? You ain't seen disrespect.

Sorry, I didn't realize this was the "let's pat St. John Fisher on the back for getting trucked by Nate Kmic" board. Y'all would finish 5th in the OAC and were really lucky to only lose by 12 considering ya got almost doubled up in yards. So congratulations on being located fortuituously and managing to keep it close despite being completely and totally overmatched. Capital and BW would love playing you, and I'm guessing Ohio Northern, John Carroll and Marietta would give you all you want.

Earn respect by not getting physically dominated outside your weak region. The national finalist from the left side of the bracket was a foregone conclusion when Mount beat Capital, just like the other side was when UWW got past St. John's.

There. I think you should be able to feel good playing the "lack of respect" card now.

Like I said, I asked the question earlier in the week and got no response. So I guess then it was about St. John Fisher and how they were going to beat Mount Union...whoops.

Screw it...I'll find out some other way.

Haha - that's funny. Kmic ran wild indeed but you're an idiot. It was a tight game all game long and everyone who watched would admit to that. It was 19-14 mid way through the fourth - where was the MUC "hammer"? ... Lucky to not get blown out? Hardly my man, hardly.

The same Rowan that beat Mount Union in 99 and was within 7 last year? Yeah them.  Tags forget it this guy is an absolute moron, but the other Mount Union fans have been some of the best I've seen all year.

Whether Fisher would finish 5th in the OAC is doubtful, You guys are too good for that type of finish. BW, JC, Ohio Northern and Capital are quality teams but never made it as far as Fisher did this year...hell those teams can't even win the conference!

Actually it did not surprise me that Robinson ran for over a hundred yards...when you reach this point you throw all the stats out because teams are just too good to be totally contained.

Thanks Raiderpa - Spence is the guy who brought the water to the starters in high school so he's now living through your exceedingly successful program. Nowadays he enjoys talking junk on an internet blog - pretty much tells you all you need to know about that.

99% of the MUC posters are a complete class act, not to worry. One bad apple won't spoil the bunch!

Well obviously they can't win their conference...they can't get past Mount. Neither could Fisher. That says nothing for whether they could play with Fisher. Capital doesn't win the conference, then wins their way back to play Mount and plays them a lot closer than Fisher did. Ohio Northern beat Mount last year. Face it, you're trying to be respectful and I have a certain admiration for that, but the middle of the OAC would be very competitive with Fisher.

Sorry for the unpleasant facts...

Y'all could have simply answered my very reasonable question (which I know you have to know the answer to, since they ran up 55 points on you), and none of this would have happened. But you had whine and moan about not getting respect because someone actually dared to post about someone other than St. John Fisher who fought so hard even though they still got stomped.

Don't you wish your boys could have posted 55 on us? Then maybe you could rant with facts.

My boys never played you, and probably wouldn't put up 55 on you, unless it was baseball. Then we might.

Yeah I'm pretty sure he's a marietta fan...what a thing to hang his hat on.
