Does anyone know the weather situation this weekend in upstate NY?  Heavy rains or what??  My predictions for the Fisher v. Kings game is as follows:

Fisher 35, Kings 17

If Fisher can control the ball with Robinson and Reile, Kings should be in for a long afternoon.  Last season the cardinals wore them down with a potent mix of run and pass and good sound defense.  Look for the R & R boys to rack up big statistics on the ground and through the air.  Also watch for ILB Gene Lang to make plenty of tackles.  GO FISHER!!!

We reconciled with Delaney after we ran into him in the Commons  wearing a "YDS Sucks" shirt and getting yelled at by some hippies.

Tecmo- Careful... if the Ithaca Journal gets ahold of the fact that Delaney ever wore a YDS sucks shirt he might be looking for work in Huntingdon where that kind of behavior is a little more accepted.  I enjoyed his pre-season articles...

I'm glad to hear our defense has a chip on their shoulders this year.  It was painful watching them get torched against anyone w/ a decent offense last year.  We had to rely on our offense to outscore teams... which isn't a trademark of Bombers Football.  They lone shining moment for our D last year was probably the fisher game, when we came through with a couple of big turnovers.

Any updates on the weather?

Mr. N,

How are the shirts looking?  I'll bring my checkbook to the tailgate... I'm hoping to get there around 11 tomorrow.  Looking forward to seeing everyone again.  Hopefully someone brings some Fireball for Mr. Tosh.

See ya tomorrow!

Looks like this storm has a dead ahead path for central NY.....precip. has let up some inland...but it sounds like steady rain in Rochester (SJF), chance of thunderstorms all afternoon....must be about the same at butterfield.....

ponchos, umbrellas and mud......

This one is going to be work...... halftime adjustments win this one.....

This is OUR HOUSE....and nobody...and I mean nobody.....

Good luck to Coach Welch and the Bombers this Saturday (not SatErday!).

Ithaca 21 - Bama boys 13

From the D3 blog....

Most likely Top 25 team to lose: Could be No. 25 Thiel since Geneva hosts and is a solid program. Huntingdon might be a trendy pick, but winning at No. 24 Ithaca is a tall task. Yes, Huntingdon was one quarter away from beating SCAC-power Trinity (Texas) last season. They also lost to 3-7 Maryville (Tenn.).

I'll go as follows:

Ithaca: 26
Huntingdon- 20

I see #46 having a monster game, and each team breaking out for a long TD pass as the cornerback slips to the ground.

Did I mention it's going to rain? If this thing doesn't turn west in central PA its going to be a complete mess.  Just hope the weather doesn't dominate the game, ala RPI 2003.

tecmo.....man bite your tongue!!!! No CB slipping allowed....see you tomorrow!

I feel bad for the folks east of Binghamton that are still repairing from the flooding earlier this summer. This is the last thing that they need.

Nothing like a good slop fest to remind you of those great Cortaca Jug games when we were at IC eh?

Remember the last game at Chugger Davis?  The fumble, the goalline stand, etc.
