FA91: The Daniel Boone lookalike went away in 2002, when the mascot was switched to Trax the moose.

UC going to Canada will be an awesome experience for everyone involved. I wish that I had had that kind of opportunity when I was on the team.
It will give the team a chance to practice with pads and have a game experience before the 2007 season, which I believe will be invaluable for later on.

fisheralum91

im sure canada will allow for some "bonding" as well budcrew!

AU played an exhibition game in France a few years back, where the Saxons stormed the beaches of Normandy.

Anytime a team can get some extra playing time, it's got to be a plus.

Sure hope those Pioneers have their passports.
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!

Oui Oui!!  ;)

France for an exhibition football game? Boy does that seem odd.  Did the French forfeit the game before it started?

Boy it's been a while since I posted.  Feels good to be on again!!

Also, with Brockport joining the NJAC in 2008, this will be the last year where Brockport will play a plethora of E8 opponents.   Now with 9 conference games,  I might assume that only the St. John Fisher game will last on the schedule, if that.

welcome back pg
i think that the fisher game will be toast as well

Nah 'Port almost assuredly keeps Fisher as their 1 NC game.  They will have to trek all the way to NJ and back 4 or 5 times every fall, it will be in their interest to keep the NC game local.  IC-Port however is most likely over.

Gosh, it must be politically incorrect to mention France as my karma took a hit since posting about the Saxons' storming Normandy. Nevertheless, welcome back, pg!

Been a crazy week in Alfred for Pep. One day, Pep's out hitting golf balls around the yard, then mowing the lawn and a day or so later, it's all covered with snow. April in Alfred!

The last two weeks of Recruiting Wars are upon us. Kids (and parents) are making their decisions. AUPepBand is hopeful of landing a second sousaphone, a clarinet, an alto sax, a euphonium, another solid trumpet, a trombone and some percussion among this year's prospects. And, as ever, we always welcome more kazoos.

+K to all posters of E8Nation as Pep tries to be positive despite the hits he's taken in the karma department.

PG - I assume Fisher would be the most likely "keeper" as well.  More importantly remember your bretheren over here at the E8 when the team makes the official switch over to NJAC.  You'll always be a member of E8 Nation.

PG I second realistic's point.  If you leave, who will rep Norwich?

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.
