Ithaca is playing Buffalo State Saturday...what do the Bengals bring to Butterfield, aside from a 34-6 pasting of my alma mater Morrisville? What's the scouting report? Now that IC's secret defensive scheme has been unveiled, will Buff State be able to adjust its attack? Perhaps, but not enough. AUPepBand says it looks like it will be an IC win, 28-14.

But the real question: how many will be wearing FDC t-shirts at ButterField on Saturday?

the plan is to have the top tier's entire East sides 25 rows lined in Yellow. Thats from the press box to the edge of the stands.  Sorry for taking over your spot Mr. N. Most likely it will be the Section from the 30 yd line to the 45. Section FDC!

Things look bleak out west for a return to Roch for the Fisher game.  Tickets have now risen above $400, so if any of y'all have time and would like to look for cheaper tickets, I'd appreciate it.  Details are that I would fly out of Denver by no earlier than 3:00 on Friday the 22nd and land in Buffalo, and return whenever on Sunday.  I'd prefer it not be at 6:30 am, but if need be....

Thanks in advance,
miyh

Are the Ithaca fans holding a grudge that I don't remember anything about? What did I do to you guys? Was I not vocal enough in my support of Ithaca against Brockport fans a few years ago??

What brought this on?  Did I miss something on the boards?

What we need to do is get Mr. & Mrs. N outfitted in FDC shirts and have them join us for a game this year...

JoseQ's prediction:  As soon as Joe N. stops playing ball, the N's can enjoy the game more peacefully and considre FDC membership.  Maybe the whole N. family could get a family membership rate?

Which reminds me of another question for Mr. N.  There is a long history of younger siblings following their brothers into Bomber Blue.  (Young, Scalice, Puckhaber -- I heard--, etc.)  Are there more N's to come?

Bomberfans,

Buff State scrimmaged Fisher in the pre season so we do know a little about them.  They do have a new QB, but they are throwing less than normal this season.  They have Dan Lopez at RB (transfer from Brockport) who is a good player.  They have WR's with good speed as well.  Lacking on the line if you ask me.  They did beat up on Morrisville in week one but they are a new program in D3.  I give the advantage to Ithaca in every aspect of the game.

I like to hear that Buff State is intending on keeping it on the ground.  Sure seems like IC's rush defense is ahead of its pass defense at this point (no offense Mr. N.).

No offense taken.....Team's Defense is where it's at.....Blumenauer reminded me of Cornelius Bennet's debut with the Bill's and John Elway.....I hope Buff State is ready..the "D" has wheels this year....and the motor is purrin!

Joe N. is the last potential "Bomber" in this family...at least in Football...His sister is a short five years away from college....maybe a potential Bomber Dance Team member..never know!

If neither of those work out, She could take over as Madam President of the FDC... or perhaps be the understudy for Booga Man.  There's no glass ceiling anymore!

Certainly not a glass cieling at IC....don't the ladies already outnumber the guys....everywhere except the FDC....and even that is changing...!

Madam President....may have potential.....but why wait five years....Must be a worthy FDC lady who should step into that role today? 72 hours to kick-off

E8 vs. LL  Tripleheader this weekend.

Union @ Springfield
Norwich @ St. Lawrence
St. John Fisher @ Rochester

Break out the brooms, I see a sweep. More like 2-1 LL. If UR plays fisher well I see them being the spoiler in the LL race.
