RPI holds its jeopardy tournament in december in the snow. Gives us an unfair advantage.

EDIT am i really writing another snow comment? this is getting old. I need a new routine. any suggestions?

+k just to get you to 500 ....you've certainly earned a sabbatical. Perhaps a sabbatical is what you need to gain some inspiration and a vision. Or maybe even take some time off and go watch a D3 football game ....or I suppose an Air Force-Tennessee game would suffice.

Fisher, U of R Courage Bowl game should be a great game.....have to believe Coach Foster and Noah will have  a few "twists" ready....the John Hopkins win was against a decent opponent.....

Defense decides......have to see how the jackets handle the physical pounding that chasing down Reile and Er's son gives em.

U of R may not challenge for the title...but anybody taking them too lightly is in for a surprise.....
"We bust ours so we can beat yours..."

Caz Bombers

I'm a few days late to the party here, I know, but I justed wanted to say great job Bombers on whupping Huntingdon.  Not gonna lie, I was pretty worried about Huntingdon being an unknown and all, looks like I had nothing to worry about.

Dubbz, JoseQ and all other IC fans, lookin forward to Homecoming next weekend, hope to see as many of you as possible.

Prediction for Saturday is the Bombers and the Fish both win by 3 TDs.

AU pep- you are killing me...
Bob-great call!
God knows that there is more to this game than Roch braggin rights!

FLA10

been out of action for a while now...hope you fellas dont mind if I join....

Week 2 Predictions:

FLA10

Fisher
Ithaca
Union
Utica
Alfred
St. Law
and the Port over salisbury

FLA10:

First off, welcome aboard!

Having seen bits and pieces of the Bport-AU scrimmage and noted the Salisbury-W&J results Saturday, your "Port over Salisbury" shows much optimism on your part. I'd agree with your prediction five years ago, but the Seagulls are now in flight and the Eagles, well, I fear their rugged schedule has taken its toll on their flight  patterns of late.

Nevertheless, good luck in Maryland! AUPepBand accompanied the AU team to Salisbury in 1999 where the Saxons were fortunate to hold on for a 20-13 win, with a game-saving interception in the red zone in the final minute.

GO SAXONS!!

UofR always worries me.  This is a big rivalry and it is always an early season test.  Plus playing at the U of R is never easy, but the R&R express keeps rolling.  Could possibly be the greatest one-two punch of running backs in DIII, and I would not be surprised if one or both get some pro looks, not necisarily NFL but maybee CFL or AFL as Offensive Specialists

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

so the "R&R express" is a better one two punch then Donovan and Bias/Davis.

but,of course, IC is a "3 headed monster" and not so much a one two punch.

JQV

Based on d3football.com front page appearances, the R&R express is better...

Based on E8 Titles...well...we all know who has that edge...

fisheralum91

rr express..?

geez..that seems a little gimmicky.

Pro looks?

dont know- but give the odds, im glad they will get an education..

Not trying to be negative- just realistic...

Still love the alma mater...

D3 football meets Madison Avenue.... RR Express....carryover from '05 I believe.

Perhaps Donovan/Baez/Davis could be the three-headed monster known as DBD.

Hartwick has Lindy Crea, who has his very own sports annual!  Hartwick College junior running back Lindy Crea (Windsor H.S. /Binghamton, N.Y.) has been named to the preseason All-Division III team as chosen by the Lindy's Sports College Football Annual.

At AU, we have Elmer and Julio....down by the (schoolyard) goalpost!
