maninyellowhat,

I am currently in IC's graduate PT program up in Rochester so I plan on trying to get a group of Grad PT students to tailgate before the game. Also trying to get IC to pay for it as we get some funding for student activities... byob

Davis has been filling in nicely at FB, with Bam Bam hurt.... JD may be a bit banged up himself, so I'm happy he's been able to fill that role like he has.

Not sure if I'm with Jose on his belief that Baez is the definite guy to go to in the clutch.  He has had a bit of past coughing up the ball. Big credit to him though, as most cast him aside when Donavan had his huge six or seven game stretch.  He posted about a yard better average per carry last year, compared to Donavan.  Both have had some injury past, so it's no problem to me having two great runners back there.

I am no football coach by any means but, it is my experience that missing PATs never leads to anything good.  When they have been good, our games with them always come down to a few points.  Getting 6s while your opponents get 7s isn't a recipe for success.

I don't want to read too much into one game but, that game was at SC, the same place they play both Fisher and IC.  At the very least they have proved they can be a spoiler if not a contender in the league.

Also, whenever SC wins at home I think of a point the old Ithaca Journal beat writer Tom Fleischmann made when I was in school (this guy covered the Bombers for a long time):  SC's option is even more deceptive at home because their home unis have a similar color to the ball.  It makes it harder to track who has the ball.

I know he has had his problems but, it seems like when our offense goes stagnant, he is the spark plug that gets us going again.  The Fisher game stands out in my mind.

Unis are the same color as the ball?

Sheesh, perhaps IC or SJF could put on turf like camo when they travel....
