Tags, i understand those points.  You however were the one taking it personal to begin with. When Robby wasn't getting the carries you thought he should you blasted the coaches up an down every week, even though they went 9-1 in the regular seaon.

They tried giving a ton of carries w/ Meyers and that got them to the ECAC's, which was nice and all but it also probably cost us an NCAA birth as he was really banged up for 2 of the 3 losses we had in 03.  

They then tried it with Robinson and it got him 2000yds in 04 and an NCAA birth in 04.  However it also got him a separated shoulder in 05.  They split carries w/ Robby in the regular season last year and come playoff time he was a beast.

These coaches, contrary to your beliefs, know what they are doing.

Are you serious? An awkward landing got him a seperated shoulder, not the amount of carries he had in 2004.

Please tell me, here on public TV that Reile is a better than, or even equal to Robinson. They did have a 9-1 record, and Robinson had like 20+ TD's with roughly 1/3 less carries a game. What does that tell you? I need you to justify the coaching philosophy of sitting an All-American back b/c the coaching staff is not creative enough to get Reile in the game some other way.

Honestly, you need to say it publically so we have it on record. Just say this:
"I agree with the philosophy of sitting an All-American running back every other series because there is another player that can help us out, but we can't figure out how else to get him some touches."

It doesn't matter who the player is, it doesn't have to be a Mark Robinson / James Reile discussion. Why have two good backs split series - why can't they find a way to get them BOTH ON THE FIELD. Make defenses have to worry about them BOTH. Come on dude, enough is enough. It's not personal, what stake do I have in it? It's about the bigger picture. Beating up on teams b/c you have the overall talent to do so doesn't excuse these types of things.

This is the last thing I will say about the Reile / Robinson discussion since its getting old and its in the past.  I wouldn't be bashing the SJF coaching staff as stated before.  They are doing a great job.  YOU aren't a college coach and they are!  I think they know whats going on.  Maybe it had something to do with Robinson's shoulder from the previous year.  Maybe they were trying to be careful with him I don't know.  But most of the games were blowouts and that I'm sure had something to do with it as well.  By the way, they did split Reile out at WR in every game for several snaps.  So they do have some creativity.  Enough Said from me though.  CANT WAIT FOR THE IC GAME.  THERE IS GONNA BE ALOT OF TALKING BEFORE AND AFTER ON HERE.  but for me its all in good fun.  GO CARDS!!!

Yes, I would say that you are indeed allow to do that.  However, it just makes you sound foolish, to be honest.  It's like making a mountain out of a mole hill.  Or making an argument just based on the sake of an argument, or because you don't like Reile's father.

I certainly expected a lot more out of the Irish. Georgia Tech is a tough squad, but didn't see a blowout coming. Maybe it should have been more obvious I guess - replacing Quinn, Walker, Mcknight, and the TE (not even going to attempt spelling that) is no small task.

Listen go read the article in espn a couple of weeks back about Houstun Nutt and how he got accused of being in an affair off of stuff on an internet message board... your duty as a fan is to second guess the coach... Look at red sox fans they all second guessed grady little after pedro suck balls in 03... and he got fired (because the boston fans and media tend to be a little pyschotic) (no offense to any of the sox fans here) but keeping pedro in at the time was the right choice...we will argue over who should carry the ball more untill one rb proves they are leaps and bounds better than the other... it's just like ithaca posters chatting about Juvan and Gassy
