It did not help that Fisher seemed to be experimenting with a variety of plays in the first quarter and never really stuck to an offensive scheme until the second quarter. Their blocking and running philosopy changed on the Hanson long TD run and took Kings by surprise.

Please go into more detail, if possible....

The initial rushing plays went to the weak side of the line. Just as important All-American Fortune did not start the game. Hanson's run for the touchdown was the first play using a lead blocker to the strong side. Fisher ran only six plays in the whole first quarter and three were passing plays. Two of the first quarter running plays were part of the second series that ended with a touchdown pass. The rest of my comment was opinion on the pass plays - one went for a yard, another was a sack.

Of the first 18 plays prior to Hanson's TD run, 11 were pass plays.

I expected to see strong side running with lead blocker to give the defense a rest and establish a running game first.  Just my opinion, much like the rest of the verbage on this site is opinions of fans.
