W/ Kramer back im not suprised to see them coming out throwing to give Hanson and Reile more room.  I heard they wernt using a FB this year though.  Fortune ok?

I'd let Kramer throw until someone proves they can stop our passing game. If the line is as good as advertised, I believe we have the receivers to do some serious damage. There is enough talent in the backfield to keep defenses honest, so I'd let him air it out this year.

Fortune is Ok, he came in and played. They use the tight end either motioning into the backfield or setting up as a fullback to lead the play. Seemed to be effective.

Pep was pleased on Saturday with the play of AUKaZ00. Pep entrusted KaZ00 with the cowbell and he aptly led the band into an here-to-fore unheard of Alfred song/cheer designed to be accompanied by Alfred U's belly dancers. KaZ00, assisted by KaZ00 Jr., who had a smashing good time in the band room, also performed the pizza run.

Stay tuned....

What's this, Pep is enlisting belly dancers to accomodate some pep band pieces? I now must catch an Alfred game.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Pep isn't talking porn here...certainly Alfred University, with about 2,000 undergraduates, can't be the only E8 member to have a Middle Eastern Dance Organization on campus. Down here in Mayberry, we've got culture!

Fisher guys,

Anybody have any updates on injuries?  Is Fortune fine?  I didn't hear Jimmy Smith's name at all on the radio broadcast.  Is he hurt?  We could use him he is a really good WR.  Any updates would be greatly appreciated.

Was anybody at the IC game this weekend? Any impressions, or anything else you can get out of the IC win?

MIOH's Week 1 Bomber's Summary:

MIOH listened to most of the first half and parts of the second half on WICB.  Here were his thoughts on the season opener.

1.   Juvan shuts all the critics up (including MIOH) for at least another week.  Although the game was never really in question, going 22-32, 300+ yards, 3 TD's, while spreading it out to 10 different receivers is better than any line MIOH would have dreamed up prior to kickoff.

2.   The Bombers D sounded great!  Naysayer's may point out that they were going up against a QB and RB in their first collegiate starts, but they completely dominated Lyco.  90 total yards and only 16 on the ground.

3.   Great to hear #19 Billy Struzzi back out there and making plays.  Struzzi led the Bombers in tackles his first game back... MIOH imagines it won't be long before the Ithaca Journal or the Ithacan (or maybe even PC) do a warm-fuzzy story on his comeback.

4.   Zero Turnovers.

5.   Danny Witbeck – Heard his name a lot on the WICB broadcast.  With all the questions surrounding the OL and w/ Bam being out... seems like he stepped to the plate and had himself a nice ballgame.

Did anyone listen to the post-game show on WICB?  How'd that go?

MIOH went to his first Jewish wedding on Sunday – The Hora Dance where you hoist the bride and groom up in the chairs and prance around was about the coolest way to start a wedding reception ever.

Go Bombers

IceManJK and Highlife Bomber were in attendance.

Morning Fellas-
Just a quick note... going through the game stats, MIOH/ FDC members will be happy to hear:
FIRST DOWNS...................       Bombers: 17        Warriors: 10

...coincidence?  I think not.

Wow - that was some catching up to do this morning.

+K to Max for the Marty reference a few pages back.

Congrats to JK for the Bomber Softball gig.

Interesting weekend around the Region, nice to have some surprises in the opening week, should set up an even more interesting week 2 with more teams in action.

Looks like Juvan started the season in fine form, hopefully he can keep it up throughout the year...
