Hey guys,
I wasnt kidding- what d3 schools allow tailgating anymore?
Ive been to only a few games since the mid 80's minus of course cortaca and there has been a big crackdown on tailgating.....

I think most schools allow it to some degree.  Ithaca's Booster lot is always going...but that is parents and alumni mostly and the college isn't going to mess with the $$$$ that they try to get from alumni.

As for D3 in general, I think as long as you aren't shotgunning and funneling and you try to keep it on the DL....you can have a pretty good tailgate.  But easily the best tailgate in all of D3 is at St. John's.  if mighty royal is around here, he could back me up on this.  If not, check out http://stiftungsfestivities.com/aboutus.aspx

Huge tailgaiting at the Shoes game in Schenectady last Novemer.  Glass bottles are allowed.  After all, if they weren't, how would the Union fans drink their wine? ;)

Most tailgaters are parents and alumni so it is not an issue at most of the D3 schools.

Realistic,

I wasn't arguing about hot girls you dipsh!t.  I know girls in the South are hot as hell.  I live in the south.  I was making a mockery to Jose's North vs. South football post saying North:  Hot Girls, South: Hot Sisters.  It was a joke stud boy.  To spell it out, I was alluding to incest in the South.  It was a stereotype and a joke.  Take yourself a little more seriosuly.  You probably get more ass than a toilet seat i'm sure.  And just so you know, because I went to RPI, doesn't mean I lived in a bubble there my entire life stuck with the population surrounding me.  I know it's tough for a lot of Upstate New Yorkers to understand this, but there's a whole lot of world to see out there outside where you grew up and/or went to college.

same holds true for Hobart

Wow Leww,

Well...I got the joke, it really wasn't hard to figure out.  I was simply making an RPI joke.  I guess you are the only one allowed to make bad jokes.  I wasn't calling on how much ass I get or anything....but at least you were able to in a few lame shots at me.  I am well aware of the world outside upstate NY, but thanks for pointing that out as well.

Not a problem.  That's what they pay me the big bucks for.

'gro

don't worry garnet... if the union 2.5 ever crack down on glass bottle the union faithful can just suck it up and get their cabernet in a box.

Thats great...it always cracked me up covering Cornell Games, when you'd drive past the "tailgating" with table clothes, wine, etc.  And the dudes in their best seersucker.

Bringing out the good Ridel stemware and cheese and crackers.

No funnel there.

Dont see too many box hits either

That is old school.  It has changed some down here but, go to most SEC/ACC football games and you will see at least 30-40% of the dudes in shirt and tie and the girls in dresses.  Most places girls don't go if they don't have a date.

Its hard for me to picture some uppity Cornell yankee wearing seersucker.

Garnet

Garnet actually saw a crystal candelabra on a tailgater's table at the Shoes game.   Garnet chuckled to himself thinking, "what would 'Gro, RT, LD11 and Reg think about that one?"

true story.
