1.)  I wrote a 30 page paper on the life of John Fisher in school.  I'm sure he would appreciate my efforts, and grant my permission to use his picture.

2.)  I'm no moran!

3.)  Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaah.

That hit was the only time in my life I've cheered as someone was rolling around on the ground in pain.

I was broadcasting that game...that was certainly an interesting moment...We actually got admonished for criticizing Darnley and his actions in that game too.

Also, is Cortland really good enough for these 4 TD win predictions.  I am so out of it here down in Florida..

tecmobowler

Yes, it was... probably one of those moments you're not proud of, but you might do again.

I can't say I've ever seen someone give the crowd the finger, the "suck it" gesture, take a 15 yard penalty, then call his own number on a QB sneak on the next play.  You never want to see someone get hurt, but golly, if anyone ever had a sprained ankle coming to him....

Portgrad,

the game with cortland will be a nailbiter i guarantee it.  I predict brockport will win by a field goal.  They are much tougher than people realize this season.  They are big and physical and have a good young QB.

As much as I hate to say it, Cortland may very well be the real deal this year.  They were very good last year, and return 20 starters. Yikes.

I guess we'll see.  Brockport's defense sounded really good in the game versus Salisbury...for whatever that's worth.  However, I don't know if the eagles have the offensive firepower from what I heard last week.

Nevertheless, a very important game for both teams (Not that the scheduling gives Brockport a lot of unimportant games...Not too many gimmes on the docket.)

Bowler-
Not sure what a moran is but-

I dont care if you are Fishers kid-
having an IC poster w/ that is sacrilege.

Lose the attitude-

everyone knows that cortland is very good this year.  they have a great defense and a ton of experienced players.  brockport was tough last year and improved throughout the season.  Im not saying that they are a better team than cortland but they do possess the ability to win this game.  they have done it before and with a good QB they can do it again.  i think this is the year.

cmon bowler,

you really arent as much of a homer as it seems are ya?

tecmobowler

I'm really worried about Ithaca's games with Brockport and Cortland.  Brockport is a tough place to play for whatever reason, and goodness knows anoything goes in the Cortland game.

Having three legit OOC games on the schedule (along with the Huntingdon opener) makes winning the conference a must.

bowler-
I will give you the str of sched.
Either of those games can go badly in a hurry- though i think that Bport is getting a little more respect than they deserve.

pg04

Yes because almost everyone has predicted them to lose against Cortland... what respect!

fisheralum91

dear god - now what ?
we going to play the respect - oh poor me crap?
I admit that Bport is always tough, but this year they are going to have their hands full w/ Cort and IC.

tecmobowler

Brockport is a complete mystery.

When I saw them last year, they looked horrendous.  Probably on par with Utica, or Buff State.

That being said, how does one explain their total destruction of Wesley and Salisbury.  Is the South as lousy as it appears? (aided by Alfred's shoutout of Theil, and Ithaca dismantling of Huntingdon).
