Jose because last year makes 4 straight times that fisher has beaten UofR... I'm all for this rivalry and I want this game to mean something big... but when there is one team that is successful and one team that is only doing so-so... UofR needs to do something in order to make this rivalry work

I hope you get your wish then

Anyone know if Alfred has an online broadcast of their games?

St. Lawrence does. It's linked on the scoreboard page.

So are they top tier, or just so-so?

2006: A team shouldn't be ranked number 1 in the Region just because they are the defending Regional Champs.

2007: A team that won the Region last year is the best team in the Region until they are knocked off.

2006: It can be a rivalry even though one of the teams only has one win.

2007: A rivalry can't exist until both teams have won the game a few times.

It is making me sick.  Some happenings outside of my control have prevented me from going.  It should be a rout.  I am going back for Auburn though and we are considering a road trip to Ole Miss or LSU.

d3 I thought I remembered Montclair having a student station when the Bombers played them in the playoffs a few years ago.  Not sure though.  I know that if it exists, it will be linked on the D3 Scoreboard page.

Guys nobody is accusing Superman of having the most coherent and well thought out posts, after a while all the scrutiny of said posts just feels the same as watching a youthful 20 something worker at a senior citizen home abusing the senior citizens at night and stealing all of their stuff.  It just feels too easy and too disturbing so maybe it should end?

My real question to D3Football is why the lack of exposure for the Courage Bowl? I think it says a ton about what DIII is all about. Players playing for the love of the game and including those with little hope of ever being involved in college sports. All of this and donations for children that are suffering. I know there was some coverage last year but I think it is a message worth repeating and an effort to get some of the other teams to try this in their communities would be great. Maybe a competition nationwide for the largest donation.

We did feature it a couple of times in previous years and if the game is good, we will again Saturday night. But of all the rivalry games, there are others that are older than three years, as mentioned.

57: Rochester needs to be a little more consistent to get the respect you want us to automatically assign.

I think you may have missed my point, this game is not about a rivalry nor is it about national rankings(OK, maybe a little). It is about DIII Football sharing/giving to a communities children who through no one's fault are facing a life threatening disease. The teams visit the kids and some of the kids go to the game. A few are honorary captains and come on the field with the teams. This is what is really good about Athletics, kids dreaming and making them a part of it. Great message.

I do understand that. As I said, we've played it up before. I don't think it's something we have to do on the front page each and every year, not before the game.

I got to agree with PC.  It is a great endeavor but doesn't deserve a story every fall.  They don't do the cancer story every time Jon Lester pitches or every time Bill Struzzi suits up.

Good for Fisher and UR.
